We noticed this attractive restaurant while shopping in the Boylston Street/Prudential shopping areas. We decided to make reservations for our group of 4, and that is recommended as even on a Sunday evening the place was jumping. Our waiter, Daniel, was most accommodating, giving choices and arranging changes to a menu item if needed. One of our party prefers gluten-free... More

I really don't know what there is new to say that I haven't said in previous reviews of Atlantic Fish Company. Simply stated, the quality of the food is outstanding, the level of professional waitstaff is outstanding, the presentation of the meal is outstanding and the prices are quite reasonable for this kind of restaurant. I wish we had this... More

This was the only restaurant during our week in Boston that I did not enjoy. My daughter and I were there for lunch. The service was great, as we had a very friendly waitress. I had fish and chips, which was one big piece of haddock. I was afraid I would be sick if I ate the entire piece because... More

This place is so good that it is busy every night of the week. The fish soup is so exceptional that I struggle to try many other things every time that I visit. The wine list is strong and the service great. TIP: Get a reservation for lunch or dinner.

Had dinner here with a large group while in Boston for a conference. It was a tight squeeze at our table, but the service and food were wonderful. It is expensive, but worth it .

Had a super meal. Randy was our server and his attention and knowledge was impeccable. He really knew his stuff and made our meal such a memorable one. To start, we shared the platter between three, and all the components were superb. For mains we had 3 different fish mains all of which we thoroughly enjoyed. We had booked Atlantic... More

In town for the Boston marathon and found this spot after going to Expo (pre-race). Enjoyed Tien at the bar with good conversation, and obviously a great bartender with the busy lunch crowd. I had the chowder of course and a fish sandwich. They have a nice outdoor patio as well. It's a tad pricey, but hey it's Boston.

We went there on a Saturday night without reservation. The dining room was booked until 9:45 pm, so we took a chance with the patio seating. No reservation for patio seating, we had to get there and put our name down on a wait list. Luckily, we only had to wait for 10 minutes and we got in. In my... More

Atlantic Fish has been a favorite of both locals and tourists alike, offering classics like award-winning New England Clam Chowder and Maine Lobster to more adventurous items such as our signature Swordfish Chop. The understated and timeless decor of the restaurant immediately draws the attention of those who enter. The dining room reminds one of a classic cruising vessel, complete with detailed woodwork and murals reflecting the spirit of the sea. Tailored to intimate dining with cozy booths throughout.

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
