It's opposite MGH. I had the mussels in white wine for starters. It was really good and there was a mountain of it. Really pleased. I had some shrimp pasta special of the day as the mains. There was a lot of it - it was OK. I really wanted dessert but was stuffed so I had the tiramisu to... More

We were in Boston for appointments at MGH. Unfortunately, there was a winter storm, and our flight was cancelled. There was nothing else open in the area -- including the grocery store-- except Antonio's. We were the only people in the restaurant. We were so please not only with the quality of the food, but by the quality of service.... More

Restaurant seemed busy so I thought it must be good. Don't know what I was missing but we had the Gnocchi Al forno and Chicken Marsala. Both mediocre at best. Sauce on pasta was bland. Staff was nice. Had these meals to go.

From salads to pasta dishes and more, everything was delicious and abundant. I can't wait to go again!

Wow. Just wow. Used to come here when we lived in beacon hill. Went the other night and was amazed how it has declined. Chef completely mailed it in. Two very basic pasta dishes with meatballs couldn't have been more bland. It was as though the dish had been leftovers that had been reheated. The sauce was unbelievably disappointing. No... More

We frequent here whenever in the area. It is not a real fancy place but the food is always great and plentiful. I have never had a dish to complain about.. It is small and busy and the staff are always attentive.

Visited on our first night in Boston and found the staff firstly unfriendly and certainly not welcoming. The pasta dishes were tasteless and couldn't be finished and I could have cooked better at home! We would certainly not visit again.

We came here because it was close to our hotel. We ended up enjoying the evening, but the food itself was ok, not excellent. Judging from the lines outside later on, it's a hit in the neighborhood regardless. We had a very gruff waitress, who warmed up and became actually friendly by the end of the meal. I had the... This place seems to be always busy and is a firm favourite with locals. The menu is huge and so are the specials of the day, which are recited to you at breakneck speed. (Writing them on a blackboard would be a better idea). In the end my wife choose the Lobster Ravioli which was delicious. I choose the breaded... More

I was with a group of about 20. The food we each received was terrific and the menu had a variety of meals to choose. The restaurant was noisy due to it's small size but if you want absolutely fabulous food, seek out Antonio's!
