I would give this less but TA wouldn’t let me. Front staff(hostess or whatever) was rude as all h*ll! Called the restaurant to make a reservation and was told they didn’t have that time available for reservation, my husband asked what times she had and...More

We stopped by for an early evening dinner. At 7:00 there was no wait for inside seating, but outside was full. We opted to go inside. Service was friendly and attentive. Our party of 4 split a few small plates and each had the roasted...More

We sought shelter here on a cold, rainy night and were delighted with the food, service and ambience. Standout dish for me was the Melanzane Affumicate and my wife loved her Burrata Ravioli. Came back for lunch a few days later which was almost as...More

We had dinner at this restaurant. We like our food, does not have to be fussy. Just good quality. The restaurant is very loud. Our waiter, despite a smile, was poor. Spilling water all over the table each time he filled up the water. For...More

The Caesar Salad and Black Truffle Ravioli were delicious. You can get the “piattini” (small— like a half serving) size so that you can try more than one thing. The gnocchi was also good. Desserts were okay. Prices are reasonable for the area.

We have dined here three times in the past year when visiting Boston from Connecticut. It is worth the trip. Piattini's is on the bottom level of a brownstone on Newbury Street on the west end of Boston. The food is amazing! (Veal Marsala and...More

It was OK, but only OK – nothing special, and nothing to complain about. The staff were a bit slow to take my order, but the food arrived quickly after that. The main dish I ordered was the Alla Norma – again OK, but an...More
