Look no further than Piattini, atmosphere and delicious sauce. Appetizers are innovative and scrumptious. Service could a little better (slow) but overall worth the wait!

This mid-Newbury Street cafe has a cozy atmosphere in a smallish dining room. I've titled this review as a mixed bag because the two other people I dined with loved everything about their experience. The authentic food, the attentive service, the cadence of the evening. My entree was the downfall. I ordered the risotto scallop dish which was marked as... More

Had dinner here with friends. The food was really good. The service was great. We liked the small plates and that gave us the option to share.

Small but not overly so. Good food at a reasonable price for the upscale neighborhood. Consistent service and quality over several years.

So happy we stumbled onto this charming restaurant on Newbury Street. I can't say the outside look enticed me to come in, but we were cold and hungry and the menu appealed to us. We really enjoyed our simple lunch - meatball panini and a proscuitto, arugula, goat cheese and fig flatbread. There was a very nice selection of wines... More

We sought shelter here from the cold after our preferred tapas spot was closed for renovations. That's what we get for not calling ahead. But, we landed here and were very happy with the results. We ordered drinks to start, we'd suggest the Cranberry Fizz, but opt out of the Jack Frost which comes with a candy cane, and really... More

I organized a birthday celebration for my husband at Piattini for 12 people. They put us in a great separate space and kept us very happy... Shout out to great service from our waiter Max! The food was great, the drinks were awesome (the bartender, Rick??, was very accommodating and kept all of us in great drinks, wine and shots!)... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
