Live jazz band is fantastic and worth the visit, of course the views are worth it as well. Drinks are moderately/high priced but you're paying for the atmosphere and views. Recommend to stop at least for one drink if you're in Boston!

We were looking so much to our Thanksgiving dinner here. I reserved one month ahead, and NO ONE called me back the week end before to reconfirm as I was told they would do, so I end up calling. Was told twice that Gentlemen MUST wear a collar shirt and well dressed, I said no problem. We were the best... More

The food was good, the views and setting are the best part. I called ahead to make reservations and let the staff know that between dinner and desert I was going to propose to my girlfriend. Unfortunately, as soon as we sat down the waiter came over and said "congratulations on your recent engagement". To which I replied "you must... More

I came here with family to have a nice dinner, and we all enjoyed our experience. We all ordered different things (tuna, chicken, short ribs, lobster bisque, beet salad, French onion soup), but all of the food was well-prepared. They were pretty busy, so it took a while for our food to come. The meals are a bit expensive, but... More

Many, many, moons ago I frequented dining atop the Prudential Center. I recall dining on my 25th Anniversary with my ex-wife. LOL. Going up to the Top is fun." On a clear day you can see forever." Blue Hills, Mount Wachusett and of course the Great Atlantic Ocean. I am over-due to return to the The Top of The Hub...a... More

We chose to dine out this year. We had 1:30 reservations and did not expect a seat near the window. We lucked out with a corner table facing downtown and Cambridge. Service was smooth and unobtrusive. We both started with the shrimp cocktail appetizer with jicama slaw. Very tasty. It was followed with a simple green salad with apples and... More

This is the second time I visit this restaurant. On both visits the food, service and atmosphere were amazing. Last night our Thanksgiving meal was fantastic and on the light and healthy side. From several appetizers and main course entrees to choose from and the delicious desserts. There was a lovely band playing but our table was too far to... More

My friend and I called in here for a drink on Friday night around 9.00. The views from the 52nd floor were amazing however there was little atmosphere. It was busy and the queues for the bar were long. We stayed for one drink. Would recommend anyone to call in for the views of the city alone.

We got up to the restaurant about 15-20 minutes before our reservation which was at 5PM. They told us to wait at the bar - which was blocked with no where to sit. So we just looked around a bit. The view is absolutely amazing - especially at dusk. You get to view the best of both worlds, daylight and... More

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
