Food is okay, nothing great - especially for the price which is very high. The setting is really good, and we saw a jazz band in the lounge and that was wonderful. Drinks were very good, and the staff was excellent.

I've only been here for drinks at the bar. It's a pretty normal bar with great service, a great menu, and top shelf liquor. The best thing about this place is the view, obviously. Being on the 51st floor, on a clear night the view is definitely unmatched. The drinks are pricey but I will say you get what you... More

If you want the best view of Boston with gorgeous cocktails and sterling service then you have to visit the top of the hub! Don't pay to go to the viewing level 2 floors below, pay for a couple of drinks and take in Boston in style! You do need photo ID for access to the hub so don't be... More

Brief visit for drinks at sunset wasn't planned but now is a visit highlight and worthy of a return. Drinks are expensive but not much different from a fine dining establishment. Wished we had spent more time there but had another commitment.

My wife and I have lived in the Boston area all our lives but had never been to this restaurant. We went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. It was busy but were seated in about 15 minutes, our server was very nice and helpful. We both enjoyed the view while we waited for our meals, a fish dish for... More

We went here expecting amazing but we're seated 20 minutes after our 845pm seating so weren't too happy with the wait. Once seated (make sure you Book a window table) seeing everyone's meals OMG, hurry up! Good food, great service with an over priced wine list. Still good and would go again.

I haven't been to the top of the Prudential since the 1970"s when I went to college in Boston. What a treat to go back there and have lunch at the Top of the Hub Restaurant. I am handicapped, There is handicapped parking beneath the Prudential and elevators to easily get to the 52nd floor. We arrived about 1:15 without... More

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
