If you can stand the volume you will enjoy your supper here. Busy but worth it for the food. Fast service and dishes are hearty and yummy.

A friend and I were walking on Newbury Street, looking for someplace for a drink and came across Papa Razzi. Located downstairs in a great old building, we found the bar to be a great place to settle in. Drinks were reasonable, bartenders were friendly and nice, and we decided to have supper at the bar. I had a margherita... More

My husband and had dinner at Papa Razzi on the Saturday evening of the Head of the Charles River Regatta (22 October). The city was extremely busy with huge numbers of competitors and spectators flooding into Boston for the 2 day event. Fortunately I had booked a table. Even though the restaurant was very full, service was not compromised in... More

We really enjoyed our meal here. Waitress helped us decide on entrees and had great recommendations. We didn't have the kids with us, but I'd take them. Calamari was particularly delicious - not too much breading and perfectly cooked, not rubbery.

We wanted Italian and this place had good reviews, which turned out to be true, in our experience. Our party had the house salad, mushroom ravioli, gnocchi, pizza and fried calamari -- all very good. Great bread with slightly peppery olive oil for dipping. Entrees $13-20+. Servers were attentive. We would go back next time we're in town.

I brought my boyfriend here for his 30th birthday!! I had called ahead of time to see if the staff could bring us a glass of Prosecco each after we ordered and if they could put a candle in his dessert. All my requests were met and the staff was excellent!! The food was exceptional!!

For a place that was very difficult to get into and boasts great Italian food, II was surprised at how mediocre their pasta is. Their pizza is great, nice selection of wine and friendly wait staff.

We had dinner on a rainy Saturday night. The location of the restaurant on Newbury was very convenient as our hotel was a couple of blocks away at Copley Square. We were seated promptly in a nice booth upstairs for a 5:45 pm reservations. The restaurant was almost full already. Service was very prompt. The wine list was reasonable. We... More

Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
