The food was phenomenal (carpaccio, ravioli porcini, and ravioli con aragosto especially), cooked to perfection, beautifully presented. The staff was really nice and accommodating. I can't wait to go back!

Was walking down Hanover street looking around, you know tourist things. Just happened to pass by the place to see the stone walls and decided to give it a shot. Everyone greeted me with a smile even though it seemed they were very busy. Their dish was served in a pan which was very interesting and fun, wondered if they... More

We ordered the lobster ravioli and mushroom risotto. My husband really liked the ravioli! I felt like my risotto was a little undercooked... It was still kinda crunchy and got stuck in my teeth. Overall it was ok. The portions are big, food came out really fast, and the service was good.

Where do I begin? An Italian restaurant where you have to ask for bread- served without oil & vinegar or even butter- which came out hard as a rock. No spoon to twirl your spaghetti. Tasteless Carbonara and the worst Caprese salad I've ever had. Very overrated.

Ate here while attending a business meeting in Boston. A group of 8 of us were out taking in the sites and looking for a place to eat. We simply walked up and asked if we could get a table. The restaurant sat us within 10 minutes. Great service, good wine, and fine food. Definitely a place to check out... More

Ate here with a small group in May. Overall the restaurant and staff were excellent, with very helpful wait staff. All of the dishes were very good except one entree. It was grilled fish platter, which unfortunately was over charred, with a very burnt taste to the fish. One dish does not a restaurant make, but this is sort of... More

I was in Boston for a work trip so brought my oldest daughter with me. As she is a huge fan of Italian food, we came here for dinner, mostly based on reviews on this site. The establishment is cozy and the service was decent - it was a Tuesday night @ 6 pm so we were seated promptly. Our... More

Hands down the best and most authentic Italian meal I've had in Boston. While we loved the last couple of North End places we've been for dinner, this one elicited moans of happiness and "oh my God, is this good!" statements from all of us. Four of us had the mushroom ravioli in black truffle cream sauce, one had the... More

Ordered the baby octopus appetizer and the ragu - both had out-of-can disgusting tomato sauce, and the meats were really plain. The dishes tasted like something that came out of a tv dinner. Not worth it at all - avoid!!!

North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli.
