Just went for dessert and drinks. Wine list excellent and varied. Great way to end a night. Staff were all friendly. I couldn't empty my water glass. All smiling and informative. Top marks to Max. Next trip is for dinner. The butcher case looked amazing...More

Excellent little place to grab a seat by the bar and enjoy an wonderful assortment of meats and cheeses. Did I mention it's little? But that's part of the charm. Do be aware that like much of the south end, they do not have a...More

Simply delicious. I was looking for restaurants in the neighbourhood given that our reservation at another restaurant was cancelled. So happy I found Butcher Shop on Seated and were able to take us in right away. Heavy on the meat, hence the name, but even...More

Loved the cozy atmosphere (although staff was a little on the colder side) and the food was spectacular. Great to share all the plates and everything was very flavorful. Absolute favorite was the House Made Beef Pastrami. Definitely worth it!! Looking forward to returning.

Adorable spot for appetizers and drinks and authentic French and Italian specialties. The foie gras was light and smooth and the burrata was phenomenal. Paired with champagne or the last of their seasonal Rose this was a special spot!

Part of the Barbara Lynch empire, this place serves excellent pates and cured meats, as well as a fine selection of wines. I was just walking through the neighborhood on my way to dinner nearby, but the prospect of complimentary charcuterie with a glass of...More

We were staying near this restaurant so came across it by accident. Although not cheap we found the atmosphere great and the food pretty tasty too. The waiting staff were friendly and explained some dishes to us. They had good knowledge of the foods and...More

I usually don't like seating at high tables in restaurants, but that's the kind of table you'll find here. Plus, we had five seated at a table suited for four, so that got things off to a marginal start. Wine list is decent, but quite...More
