Tonight, 8/12/15, my wife and I with my 2 daughters had dinner at the restaurant. Food was excellent and the service was wonderful. Even when my one daughter began to fall ill our server took great care in our situation. Thank you so much and keep doing what your doing!

We went on Wednesday night for a work dinner. It was fabulous!!! The food was fantastic! Shrimp scampi to die for! The chicken Carroza (spelling?) was literally amazing! So good! You could lick the plate clean! The calamari was excellent too. Frank the owner couldnt have been nicer and the service was great! The waitress was personable and friendly! Great... More

We went for a birthday dinner. Nice seating with a street view. Great service. We did not get seafood but it looked good. The tomato based sauces were very good. I got a salad which was good. My wife really liked it and highly rated the food. The kids split some cheesy entrees which were tasty. The splitting did not... More

If you are looking at this before travelling to Boston, N.B. that there are (at a guess) well over 100 Italian restaurants in the space of a few streets in Little Italy in Boston's North End. Note also that on a Saturday night it was heaving and many places have queues down the street. So, there is a lot of... More

Saraceno is a great place to eat because the food is super good there. My fettuccine was just the perfect balance of richness and creaminess. The service was friendly and prompt. It is a great place to eat if you are in Boston.

Nice dinner after ordering the Veal special meal. Presentation and taste very good; seasoned well. Wait staff very eager and attentive. Worth visiting in North End. Enjoy.

We were walking the North End at dinner time, looking for a restaurant with no wait and reasonable prices. We found it at Saraceno, which had entrees in our range (mid-teens) and liked that they had linen tablecloths. It was crowded with a mix of regulars and tourists but we were seated immediately. Caesar salad for two with fresh bread... More

We decided we must eat in the North End before leaving Boston. We picked this restaurant because they had availability. We had a party of six and they led us downstairs to the basement where there were more tables. It was quaint, the food was delicious, and the service was great!

My husband and I had a late night dinner here. Our meals were delicious and large. We had cannolis and cappuccino for dessert that were excellent too. Very romantic setting for two parents out alone for the night:)

Searching the North End of Boston for a restaurant on a busy Saturday night can mean long lines. We found this cozy place happy to seat the four of us immediately. Bread was on the table quickly along with a bottle of olive oil. Dinners great and reasonably priced. Very good service, too.

Staying in North End

Neighbourhood Profile
North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
