This restaurant is loud, crowded and difficult to get a seat at breakfast and lunch. Yet, I find myself still drawn to it. The sandwiches are so delicious and the sticky buns are wonderful. Everything is so good- so go at an off time. 1:45...More
My wife and I were visiting Boston and needed to grab a quick bite to eat. Not knowing where to go we gravitated to the Flour Bakery and Cafe on Clarendon because it was busy. We were pleased to find that the menu was varied...More
Excellent food and friendly staff, but the service can be unpredictable at this location; had the "curried tuna with raisin" sandwich twice (once it had no raisins in it whatsoever!). Also on another visit we ordered breakfast and it took about 10 minutes just to...More

This is a very busy and fast moving breakfast cafe, where one orders at the counter. We found the choices for breakfast suited us v well. Bear in mind that on weekends it doesn't open until 8am.
As a carb addict this is my church - a busy, lively home to freshly-prepared breakfasty, bready awesomeness. I went twice and could have basically eaten every meal there had I been allowed! You don't want to be in a hurry though, it gets super-crowded.
