For years we've stood on line at their Hanover St. 20 seat restaurant. It is always worth the wait. Now we discovered their Seaport location with a bigger dining room & the same amazing food. Fresh clams, mussels & squid ink pasta for the adventurous water. Platters of fish for variety. Super fresh, large portions & fresh bread to soak... More

Worth the 100 minute wait in the cold for a table. Food was spectacular and watching Chris in action only added to the experience. Kudos to Chris and Max (tremendous hustle). On par with the best pasta we've had on multiple trips to Italy. Look forward to visiting again.

My husband and I were visiting Boston over the weekend and decided to go to The Daily Catch because of the reviews we read online. I'm so happy we decided to try it! We waited outside for about 15-20 minutes in the cold and wind, but it was worth it. The pasta and seafood were wonderful! It's a small place... More

Haven't been there in several years but with my out of town boss who likes seafood and Italian I made it a must. Still the same small place that you stand in line for (but that's part of the charm of the North End) across from Mike's Pastries. The food is the best in the North End, Not fancy but... More

The calamari here is by far my favorite. No comparison to date and it's been years. All of the food is made fresh to order. The boys work hard and it's worth a visit if you're in the North End.

Very small and cozy - only 18 to 20 seats so you have to wait outside. Had the calamari, very good with a light marinara sauce and lobster dish - plenty for 2 people.

Can't go wrong with the clams casino, black pasta puttanesca, and lobster fra diavolo! Yum! Cozy atmosphere with friendly staff that enjoy sharing their favorites.

This place is a one-off. Tiny - bordering on miniscule. Always busy. Largely blackboard menu with loads of choice you'd be stuck to find elsewhere. Cooked (& served) in individual woks by two chef's who're inches from customer's tables. Huge portions of Glorious glorious fresh seafood. Amusingly dry, flat local humour from the owner who welcomed us by asking us... More

Halibut special $27 including choice of salad or pasta. The fish was excellent, the sides indifferent. 20 covers, tiny space. Dessert across the street.

Staying in North End

Neighbourhood Profile
North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
