This. Is an old favorite of me and my family, cozy neighborhood tapas place. Went today, new management, new menu.... smaller potions... higher prices... no bread with the tapas and it took forever. The waitress was a really nice Irish girl, very apologetic. All in...More

Based on the positive reviews my wife and I went to Tasca for dinner last night but were sadly disappointed. Everything was reasonable cooked but incredibly bland. For instance, we ordered the sizzling garlic shrimp and you could hardly taste the garlic. We had a...More

Nice ambiance and good service. Food was mixed. The gazpacho was delicious. My chicken paella was just OK. The chicken was good, but the rice was far too salty. My dessert was a chocolate pudding that had the consistency of a cake rather than a...More

I actually went here with someone who studied abroad in Spain and he said this was the best tapas (as in, most authentic) he has had in Boston. While I can't personally make that statement, the food was really good and I would highly suggest...More

The atmosphere is extraordinary. The decor with wooden furniture and artwork creates an authentic environment. Sangria is superb as well as tapas. Last night we ordered tortilla espanola, chicken croquetas, tuna, goat cheese empanadas and two specials that were out of this world. Make sure...More

Not sure what happened on this one and how it got such good ratings, but it attracted us. Problem is that everything was ordinary at best. olives were good. What self respecting tapas restaurant doesn't have pulpo in some form? They don't. It goes on...More

I go to this restaurant about twice a year for their tapas. Don't be put off by the sort of urban location--it's very cozy and intimate, and has a spanish feel. Sometimes wonderful local guitarists play live acoustic traditional music here, and that's great. The...More

We live locally, there are many good Tapas places to go in Boston. I find they have become popular. This is a Boston classic. I just recently tried it. I love the unpretentiousness of the place. Great service, yummy food. Felt authentic over trendy which...More

Our party of three thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The tricky part was deciding which of the 35 tapas to order! In trying to keep up with the appetites of two ever-ravenous teenaged-boys, we ordered 8 tapas and then added 2 more because everything was so...More

Tasca has been around since 1995 and over the years has won an abundance of accolades including Best Romantic, Best affordable and Best Tapas Restaurant in Boston. We are best known for being the best romantic affordable restaurant in the Brighton/Allston /Brookline area. All our 36 tapas are priced below $10, most being in the $5 to $8 price point. We are famous for our paellas, offering three….a seafood, a vegetarian and a meat option. All are priced under $20 and perfect for sharing. We also have 12 other entrees, all priced under $20. The great thing about a Tapas restaurant is that you can graze on many small dished and share among friends, or dine in the traditional way of an appetizer and entrée. All diets are accommodated as we have lots of vegetarian options and even have a gluten free menu. We offer daily seasonal specials, 20 craft beers, an extensive wine list comprising mostly of Spanish wines… starting at only $19 a bottle. We always offer a white, pink pomegranate and our famous red sangria by the glass or pitcher. What sets up apart is the vibe. We have no televisions. Our clientele is either young and hip or young at heart. Every Sunday we have a classical guitarist and occasionally we have live flamenco shows. Tasca is perfect for large and small parties alike as we have something to fit everybody's taste. Getting to Tasca is easy as we are located on Commonwealth Ave, half way between BC and BU. We are on the GREEN LINE (Washington Street Stop) and offer $6 valet parking.
