Rinos is a bit over hyped. the food is great but in my opinion over priced. $20+ for gnocchi, plus its almost impossible to eat there. The one time I did they sat our group at different tables.

Rino's Place is an East Boston neighborhood restaurant. Far off the tourist path and a bit of a trip to get there. Given that it is a neighborhood restaurant, parking can be a bit difficult for dinner, as you are competing with residents for a limited number of spots. The wait staff was excellent and probably they know all the... More

We particularly liked this restaurant as they take no reservations, and, the entire party must be present in order to be seated; we were afraid we would have an hour long wait, but being the night before Thanksgiving, it was relatively quiet. Huge portions, great waiter.

A few years ago, I watched a clip about Rino's Place on the Food Network. What struck me most was the authentic Italian tradition and ingredients that the chef used in preparing each dish as well as the layering of flavors. My son and I finally made it to Rino's recently and had what I would describe as a mixed... More

So my wives brother called us in October and told us a friend of his made reservations for this great little Italian place in East Boston and we had to come. Said you needed to call 3 -4 weeks in advance for reservations. Everyone has to be there by the start time or they give your reservation up. Wow, must... More

Seating Warning: this restaurant is ideal for takeout but has minimal tables for dining in. Grant yourself a 20-40 minute wait in your warm parked car with your friends before expected to be seated. There is no space to wait inside. I dined inside and had the lobster ravioli. It was hearty, large ricotta ravioli but with incredible flavor. Great... More

This is the second good Italian restaurant i've visited in East Boston and i'm happy to say Rino's is an excellent choice, if your very, very hungry. I'm told there's a line every weekend, however we were there on a cool Saturday night and there was no line. They don't take reservations for small parties, which i find strange as... More

On the recommendation of a friend from East Boston, Rino's was the "must go" choice for my day-trip to Boston. A truly great meal that rivaled some recent great eats I had in Verona and Venice. Sopa Del Mar for me and Pasta Bolognese for my nephew. Great food, service and a friendly neighborhood atmosphere.

Completely blown away by the flavor, freshness & portions! The presentation was excellent and the staff was super friendly. I had the eggplant & veal combo with the homemade ravioli(huge) it was great! This was my first time here, but it will be a regular stop from now on when in Boston.
