My girlfriend and I stopped by here since we live around the corner and always walked past it. We were very excited to try Typhoon and we're very happy with our experience! I had the spicy salmon sushi burrito.... yes..... sushi burrito!!!! My girlfriend had the avocado and cucumber sushi, which she enjoyed as well. The service was prompt and... More

Was amazed to experience such poor quality food when the reviews on trip advisor weren't bad at all. Someone even compared it to Buddakan. My God what a joke. This place is overpriced and very poor quality food. Ordered the scallops which were chewy. All 3 of us came out extremely unsatisfied and hungry. Please avoid!

I bought a Groupon for this place as the description looked really good. The location is very good, but the food is below grade for the prices. There was a certain air of staleness about this place.

During a recent trip to Boston, we stopped by Typhoon for lunch one day. The lunch menu offered an array of choices ranging from Thai to Indian dishes to Sushi options. We HAD to try a little bit of everything! We were not disappointed at all! Each dish was full of flavour while also presented in an almost artistic way.... More

Very yummy fried rice (with wok hei), pineapple rice, tom yum soup and claypot chicken. Easily one of the best meals we had in Boston. Service is top notch, ambience is really nice. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommended!

Called in on Easter Sunday evening - only customers. Asked about vegetarian menu (we remembered from a visit 2 years back) - we can 'still' do that. My wife's tofu teriyaki had cold precooked vegetables , not freshly steamed and her rice was barely warm. Tofu was warm, but not hot. She didn't tell me straight away as it was... More

We went here before an evening hockey game and enjoyed it very much. They have a good selection of Asian beers and excellent green tea. We had a deep fried whole red snapper and drunken pirate noodles - both very tasty and good portions were given. The service was pleasant and relatively timely. I would go again.

After a long day walking around this great city (Being a tourist) I was looking for an early evening dinner that was not a fast food chain.... I struggled on a Friday night as it seems everyone eats out and book in advance. I happened across this small bistro, what a find they were able to accommodate me at a... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
