Excellent beer selection, decent food... itty bitty space. This is a locals place, but welcoming and enjoyable. I can't stress enough how tiny this place is so DO NOT come here with a large group... four is going to be tough to find a spot. Otherwise, enjoy the tremendous beer list, great music and good food.

How do you call yourself a dive bar if your beer prices are the same as everyone elses? I obviously had no clue they only served beer or else I wouldn't have come here, i was craving a mixed drink, like a tequila sunrise, and i was explaining to the bartender what's in it to make their job easier he... It is actually a lot bigger than it looks from outside. A trendy hipster/dive bar with a good selection of craft beer and $3.75 pints of PBR.

Wife and I came here for lunch. Place was pretty empty at noon. Service was very slow. We got our appetizer and meals at the same time (30mins after ordering ). Burger was decent. Just 1 staff member working and didn't make himself too visible. Would not come back.

I walked past and was almost going to give this place a miss. Glad I didn't, friendly place offering a good selection of local taps.

Went here with some coworkers as we were in town for a conference. Great divvy feel. Drinks were good alas my grilled cheese was sub par. Bread that was toasted brown with 2 pieces of cheese and tomato in it. Not grilled just an expensive cheese sandwich with toasted bread. My colleagues enjoyed their hot dogs.

Stopped in to have a drink with a friend. Small dive bar and I enjoyed it. Great drink selection. One note, they only take cash.

a 25' foot tavern connected to a parking garage. It was fun. Would return for a wine or beer...No spirits!

We weren't sure what to expect after seeing some reviews but wanted to see for ourselves. What a great atmosphere, a proper bar, nice beer, cheap as well, visit if you're passing

Stumbled in w friends for some afternoon drinks and really enjoyed the unpretentious attitude and great beer selection, it changes daily. It is also an ALL CASH operation. Food is limited to your basic bar food although the 4 meatball appetizer and tater tots weren't bad at all. The staff had a bit of an attitude commenting about cheap tippers... More

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
