Had extremely high hopes for this place especially after reading the reviews. It is extremely tiny and the AC is non-existent on a 100 real feel day. We were there for Craft Beer and they had a Hard Cider takeover, which left no room for craft beer? A Rep was there from a Spanish Cider Company and tried a Pear... More

Great sense of humor, great selection of libations. The titles on the food menu were entertaining which was a bonus

Has feel of local tavern with an unbelievable selection of micro brew beers. Burgers were fantastic. Bartender was the server but it did not matter, great, friendly atmosphere.

I came here with some friends for my buddy's 30th birthday. i have been here once before and liked it, but this time it was too much. At some point, they decided to turn off the AC and open the windows thinking that it was cooler outside than inside, but that just made everyone hotter. My friend and his girlfriend... More

... Food was great, beer was fantastic, service was ornery. I didn't expect too much from this place since it's a designated dive, but i was anticipating a very unique, fun bar.. I have to say though I was blown away with the food and drink! The bar tender seemed troubled by my being there, for being such a small... More

Good beer selection. Pleasant atmosphere. Comfort foods include choices for those pesky vegetarians in your crowd. You can actually hear yourself talk!

Excellent selection of beer (with stated alcohol volume) and food array was basic, but with unique attributes, and fun language on the menu. Chipotle mayo - YUM, but definitely hot!

The location of this place in a parking deck caught my eye as I was walking around Boston looking for somewhere to eat. It was early in the evening and the place was hopping mostly with men drinking beer. If that's all you need then it's probably great. I, however, wanted a good meal and something to drink other than... More

As a fan of dive bars, craft beer, and Bukowski novels, I had to stop here when a local bartender mentioned it. Cool, laid back environment with an extensive list of beers you've never heard of, and a menu full of great greasy bar food (the turkey sandwich was delicious). Keep in mind it's cash only, and one should expect... More

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
