Friendly pub in the heart of Boston. Eat in or take out. Good for lunch or dinner and has a lively night-life.

excellent clam chowder. Lobster roll not worth the money. $26 for a lobster salad roll, and not a generous portion either. I would not recommend it.

We went there for lunch during a semi busy friday afternoon. Service was somewhat indifferent and the food was utterly tasteless. So if you want to eat, avoid this place but if you just want beer served with a minimum of eye contact and smiles,...More

Stopped in after a day of wandering. Guinness was perfect! Fish and chips were very good and large portion. Right by Quincy Market and T stop. Great location!!

Happened to check this place out. The rest of the area bars were pretty quiet but this place was hopping! Wall to wall people listening to an Irish band. So fun! Good selection of drinks!

The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I didn't get my clam chowder appetizer, which I was really looking forward to. Our server disappeared after taking our order and several other servers ended up delivering our food, which worked out fine except...More

One of the best Irish coffees I’ve ever had. The staff is wonderful the music Devine the food amazing and the atmosphere welcoming. I would go back again and again. The live music gives the Black Rose just the right vibe for an Irish bar....More

I had the Reuben. Fabulous corned beef. Used scrod for the fish and chips. Shepherds pie was also good. Best benefit was Guinness on tap. Great t shirts too.

The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with
historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through
one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston
Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling
statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the
pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where,
during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting
children and eager tourists through the pond. Have
