This is truly one of the most decadent bakeries in the city, the quality and freshness of the rich and lustrous pastries on display second to none. A handful of tables line one side of the establishment, offering an opportunity to really indulge in style from the variety of artery-bursting wares on display, while a subterranean bar beckons to the... Line was down the street, but had heard rave reviews so we waited. Bakery goods were ok, latte was good. Can check it off to-do list for Boston. Got things to go and ate at nearby Rose Kennedy Park.

What can you say about this place, I won't bad mouth the other bakeries, but modern pastry is currently in the lead for me in the Cannoli race, which Mike's has held first place in for so long. The shell is not as traditional tasting as Mike's, but it is pleasing tasting almost like a french fry. And the filling... More

The desert was very, very good but there was a queue going out the door so be prepared to wait in line.

This pastry shop has very good cannolis. I really like the cream filled, not the ricotta cheese. Their cookies are good also.

Cash only authentic Italian bakery/pastry shop. The leaf cookies are my kids' favorite. We love the multi colored champagne cookies. Always a pound of each and always to go. Lines can be long though, which can be a problem since there is NO parking in the North End.

Although this shop carries a lot of very good looking desserts, they've done a great job with the classic canoli with ricotta cheese. So simple and yet these guys figured out how to elevate a classic dessert without going too far. The texture and flavor of the ricotta was spot on. In contrast, the shop down the road called "Mike's"... More

Outstanding!! Cannoli ($4) was out of this world. Addictive. The Berry Tart ($6.75), Chantilly cream topped with lots, and I mean lots, of berries. Perfection. Best I've ever had.

Their chocolates and truffles are some of the best I have ever had, and prices are great for the high quality confections you can get here. This is... More
