Burger and Corned Beef. Next door to the Hilton. Great for lunch or at the bar for dinner. My Go TO when working in the area.

I was staying at the Langham, nice hotel, about 3 blocks away. This was a great place for a hearty Irish breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. Quiet in the morning but the bar was packed when I dropped by at night. They have live music as well. Good friendly service, reasonable prices and hearty food.

We were lured in by the description of live music - and had some dinner, beer and cider before the music started. The food choices were reasonable priced and served promptly - the shepard's pie was good. The Mac and Cheese pretty good. We thought the Downeast unfiltered cider (cans) was a good. Service was friendly and attentive. The music... More

Great little place. I got a burger with cheddar, grilled onions, bacon and BBQ sauce. So good! Not sure what it is about good authentic Irish pubs, but they know how to make a damn good burger! Would definitely come back here again. My buddy got the fish and chips and clam chowder. Said the chowder was amazing!

This is my favorite bar away from home, and I have only been here twice. The staff are so friendly, the food is great, loved the live music. The location is also great. If you are in Boston you must stop here.

From the moment we sat down at the bar we felt at home. John was our bartender and happened to pour the best d*mn Guinness that I've ever had. Great bourbon and whiskey selection. It was lunch time and I know that they were busy but John took the time with my brother and our friend, making us laugh and... More

Stopped in there for Breakfast last weekend. It was very good. Quick service. They serve delicious Mimosa's as well. I got an Omelette. They had Irish rashers and bangers. Both were great. My buddy had Steak and Eggs and loved it. French Toast was also good.

I first went here a few years ago for Sunday brunch which is cheap and bountiful. Now I go there during the week as well. I live very close by. The service is always fabulous, the coffee free-flowing and the food very good. The portions are big (I usually have to take a doggy bag) and there are plenty of... More

Wouldn't make the effort to come back again. Seemed more like a place for business travelers looking for a bite to eat. Music didn't start when listed also so that was a bummer. Disappointed especially after the other reviews.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
