My family loves Dim Sum and have had great dining experiences in SF, NYC, Hong Kong and other cities. We were excited to find this restaurant as it looked promising. Unfortunately, we discovered nothing positive. The food was barely edible and boring. The selection of steamed dumplings was poor and the service was even worse. We quickly left when it... More

This is a dim sum "palace" like you remember. A large noisy banquet room filled with families picking the most delicious--and authentic--dim sum from a never ending series of carts. And a place where six people can eat until bursting and get change from $100. What could be better?

Dim sum is delicious even though you have to get line to wait to enter; however, they gonna lead you to your seat right as fast as they can

I stopped by here to let my family experience dim sum in Boston. Because of the worst Chinese meal and unfriendly service that I have ever experienced, I rather felt sorry to my family. Only a couple of tables were filled with guests, and near to be empty, surely it's better not to be crowded, but I found that it... More

Authentic Chinese. Very reasonably priced. Great dim sum cart, kids really liked the fried rice. Was told by Uber driver this is where the locals actually eat and the only place his parents will eat when in town. Go here for great food vs walking thru tourist trap arch to Chinatown. Be prepared for a very hectic ordering experience and... More

We went to dim sum on Sunday at noon and this place was bustling with people coming and going. Staff was very efficient at seating everyone. It was fun to pick the dishes iff the carts and share them. Some if the dishes were delicious, such as the pork bau, buns with egg custard in them, and the bok choy... More

Noting many questionable comments appear to be from westerners not accustomed to these traditional Chinese breakfast goodies served in authentic style, where you get to see the freshly prepared food and pick only what looks or smells delicious. I am of Chinese ancestry and grew up proximate to New York Chinatown. This is about as authentic as it gets at... More

Terrific dumplings and other dim sum specialties. This is the dim sum spot my Chinese friends prefer. Since this restaurant caters primarily to Chinese-speakers, you'll need to be open-minded and check your expectations at the door. Waiters will seldom speak English and the dishes are prepared in a traditional Chinese style that uses a lot of oil. Once you enter... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
