Had a reservation but decided to brunch at the bar instead. Cool staff. Excellent breakfast. Had the most exquisite banana bread. No, seriously. It was fantastic - light and fluffy, which is quite a feat of baking skill, and warm and buttery. Quiche was perfection....More

We had a great breakfast at the Eastern Standard after the James Taylor show at Fenway. Everyone in our party of 6 enjoyed their food. I had the egg sandwich with avocado and it was great! The cinnamon french toast was very good too. If...More

I have dined at Eastern Standard a few times and every time it's been a great experience with excellent service. The arrival experience can be alarming as it's always busy on Red Sox game nights and the restaurant is rather noisy. But once you are...More

The joint was a hoppin! Even during the week in the rain. We arrived late and were seated quickly. Large varied menu and an even larger drink and wine menu. It was difficult to choose. The milk punch we had was kinda over priced. The...More

Went here on a recent Friday night just prior to attending a concert at Fenway. I was glad that I made reservations in advance as they were turning folks without reservations away at 5 PM. Service was great. Not too fussy or pretentious but there...More

This was not our first visit to the Eastern Standard (their french toast and eggs Benedict for breakfast are to die for, and dinner is always good), but the first time we have had lunch there. We split an appetizer of marrow served with mushrooms...More

As it's right around the corner from Fenway, it's a great place to catch a bite of good food before a game. It will be crowded, so best to make a reservation. We didn't, but they still found us a table in time to get...More

The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but
loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this

I would call the restaurant. One of our party asked for gluten/free bread and was told there wasn't any. However, the server brought a little dish of some kind of cold marinated veggies that she was happy with.

I suggest you call the restaurant as soon as possible. It was pretty busy when we were there but we got in because we only needed a table for 3. Arranging big parties should always be done ahead of time. Have a good time!
