Briefly, the tea was so over-steeped/brewed to be undrinkable. Generally the food was insipid, beyond mild in taste. We live in LA which has a thriving Chinese dining scene and this restaurant would close within a month there. The food was served in generous portions. Fried items too greasy, even proverbial fortune cookies and oranges were lacking in taste.

After a long day of touring Boston, we wanted to eat Lobster. We decided to eat at New Jumbo Seafood and the lobster and clam here is fresh and quite tasty. The menu has a variety of food to choose from. The food is good and authentic. The service was good and the price was not bad.

Give this place a 3.5 stars. My friends and I went to New Jumbo Seafood for dinner. We ordered a bunch of different seafood dishes. All the dishes are authentic Chinese. If you are adventurous, I would recommended stir fried dungeness crab, spicy clams with eggs and jelly fish (cold dish).

A nice and clean restaurant in Boston China town. I think the owner may be come from Hong Kong as it has a huge painting about 90's Hong Kong. The seafood there is amazing, which just same as the one you can find in Hong Kong.

First of all, you don't go to Boston's China Town for the ambiance or elegant dining. You do go there in hopes of good food at reasonable prices. Jumbo's fits the bill. The clientele are mostly ethnic Chinese, but all are welcomed courteously. Live fish are offered to be prepared in a variety of ways as are a host of... More

As you enter, look at the live seafood staring at you. Great service, and very good seafood dishes. Straight forward Chinese.

The fish and seafood are kept barely alive in fish tanks at the reception. So, you can see and choose what you will eat. The fish are crowded into these tanks so they can barely move; many of the fish we saw were lying on their sides, not moving, hardly breathing. This prolonged suffering on public display is unacceptable.

Took my friends there to have cantonese style lobsters. We ordered 2 lobsters, bean sprouts, fried rice, all were very delicious. Lobster is better done stir fried with ginger than the usual american steamed style. Price is very decent and will be back again.

One of the best Chinese seafood restaurant in Boston. It is small restaurant so I recommend you get there early. There is big live tank that has many different kinds of stuffs such as lobster, fish, shrimp and clam. I recommend this place for authentic Chinese seafood.

Trip Adviser's reviews were mixed on this restaurant, so I thought I would check it out with my wife and daughter as we wanted to visit a close restaurant to our Boston Hotel. I totally now get why reviews rate it at 5 stars, 3 stars, and 1 star. The food is quite good 4-5 stars, however the service and... More
