Came here on a Monday night for business meeting. It's the 2nd time I've been here and the place was empty. Not sure why because the food and service were quite good. I had the mushroom ravioli which was quite good. The waiter was attentive. Would recommend for a nice quiet dinner option.

We ate at the Vintage Lounge last night after arriving in the Boston financial district. We entered from Broad Street and was seated in the back corner right out of the movie set of Goodfellas. The booth with the red velvet dated drapery was perfectly cast for a scene. We all waited for one of the wise guys to walk... More

I use to live in Boston and went to Vintage a few times then and it was always good! Service is spot on. I come back on business and it's always good, especially the clam chowder and filet! Also had the seafood platter and really fresh! Yummy!

Not many dinner choices in this area, many are open just for lunch. Pretty sure Subway would have been a better choice, except it didn't have beer.

Had salmon that was very good. Ate at the bar because we were the only people there, but more arrived by the time we left.

I stopped by Vintage Lounge with my friends after a long day of attending meetings. This place has nice atmosphere, cool vibe and attentive service. We didn't get to eat a meal there, but had a couple of their “tapas” style small plates and they were delicious. The drinks are bit pricey but well made. This is a perfect lounge... More

Quite possibly the worst restaurant we have ever been to. We read all the reviews, checked out the pictures and neither was accurate. We were the ONLY guests in the restaurant at 6:30 PM. We were the only guests when we left. The spotlights were directly in our eyes, the chandeliers had numerous bulbs burned out. The owner/manager/waiter was in... More

Delicious, great menu - we could have eaten anything on the menu, nice ambiance, friendly, good service.( we ate in the restaurant portion - wish we were a party of 4-6 as the center table is very cool!) Love that it's not a chain and has a cool vibe about it, they use locally sourced foods if possible and everything... More

We ate in the restaurant part of the Vintage Lounge (versus the bar area). The food was good; the ambiance was really good (beautiful velvet curtains). My husband had fish, I had pasta bolognese and our granddaughter had mushroom ravioli. All were good. The Caeser salad was better than normal. The chocolate lava cake was a little too done but... My husband and I came here after dinner for a drink. It was very quiet- only a few other patrons. (The whole area was quiet because it was Easter weekend). The atmosphere is nice, they have 2 bars and a lounge area in the front and the back. The food menu looked good, although we didn't order anything. I had... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
