Cafenation is an intimate cafe that offers quality coffee, pastry and delicious meals. The staff is super friendly greeting customers by name. An eclectic mix of music complements the intimate atmosphere.

Coffee was so so. The omlettes were cold in the middle and not seasoned at all. The staff were awesome though and the space is cool.

I have been living in Boston for a couple of weeks, wandering in the hunt for good coffee shops (no Starbucks)....CafeNation is a great find, the coffee is delicious. There is also a plethora of affordable food items to choose from... Bagels, omelets, sandwiches or crepes.

Love this place. Easy and fun place to study, excellent crepes, superior coffee. The staff is friendly and efficient. If you're going to eat somewhere in Brighton, go here.

Local coffee shop that offers a good combination of food and coffee. I had an omelette which was good along with some bacon which was above average. The coffee however was average to below average. Their machine is a la Marzocco so the tools are their just the training?

I tried the banana Nutella crepe! It was sooooo good! I got the mini but I found the mini size but I was wishing I ordered the larger one. The mini is good if you are only looking for a light snack. If you are hungry. I would recommend getting the large one. They also sell sandwiches and bagels as... More

I started coming here with my boyfriend a few years back. Fast forward to now husband plus two kids, we still love coming here. Great service, lovely coffee, crepes and salads and breakfast food- it's all very nice, homemade style. Overall, a great neighborhood cafe, the way it should be.

It is a cute coffee spot where students can come by to get a cup of coffee and do their homework. My friend ordered a breakfast sandwich which was really good. It was better than a turkey sandwich I ordered. So I would come back again.

I love cafe nation. I have written tons of papers there and their service is always friendly. Th mixed green side salad is great however, the eggs for sandwiches aren't friend. They are cut scrambles eggs that taste weird. Other than that it's a great place.

I had a sandwich with avocado, hummus, tomato and cucumber and it was awesome. It also came with a side salad. This is a great spot to read a book, do some work and just chill out. The teas are great too.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
