Quite simply brilliant - super tasting pastrami sandwich which was generously filled and served v. quickly. Easy to see why this place has such a great reputation.

It is obvious they have perfected the art of handling many orders quickly. We ordered at the counter and soon received the best hot pastrami sandwich we ever ate. The sandwich was large enough to split. It was worth the price.

The best sandwich I've ever eaten, worldwide. I had the Chipotle Pastrami, and the taste was amazing. I also got a lemonade, which matched the sandwich perfectly. If you visit or are in Boston, you have to have lunch at this place. Definitely lives up to the press and hype (which is rare these days).

Priced themselves right out of customers. This is a terrible shame. The food is outstanding but the prices are Over The Top. I paid 22.95 for a corn beef and pastrami sandwich which it was good but not worth the price. I understand Covid but this is ridiculous. I only realized the price after I ordered. This is very sad as I paid $8.95 for the same sandwich. I honestly think they want to price themselves out of business. Buyer beware.

Friends and family recommended, it did not disappoint. Pricey but so what... bought as take out and they separated bread from fixers to keep it fresh.

Over 30 bucks for a sandwich that won't change your life or really your day. Pastrami wasn't salty or spicy enough. Nice place to sit outside.

Good pastrami but a bit pricey. I think it's really overpriced, but I guess it's Boston. They have really good clam chowder and it goes well with the pastrami. Service was great! Would recommend

After checking into our hotel we ran by Sam’s for a quick lunch on our way to the Boston Tea Party museum. Husband had the Club and I had the Turkey/Ham/Swiss. Both were delicious! Pretty pricey for sandwiches, but they’re huge and you could split if neither person was starving. Sandwiches come with lightly brined pickles that I loved but my husband didn’t. Yummy and good for a quick lunch!

Tried to grab lunch the day we arrived but they close at 2 pm so we went back the next day around noon. All four of us got a different sandwich and we each said, “This is the best sandwich I have ever had!” The serving size is enormous so you could easily split one. The sandwiches are quite pricey but they were hefty and soooo good we felt they were worth it. Certainly couldn’t afford to eat there every day, but worth a visit now and then. Highly recommend!

We just happened to be walking by so we had to jump in and grab a sandwich. We decided to share a pastrami Reuben.....it was melt in your mouth delicious, but at $22 each that is a little steep for us. Same sandwich cost $12 in the Detroit area. Worth the splurge though.

I have been CRAVING a really good reuben sandwich for several weeks... it's one of those things I haven't been able to find in southern-NH. I traveled to Boston today for (thankfully!) the last follow-up appointment I'll need with my spinal surgeon. He was running an hour late, so instead of getting out of the city by lunch, I found myself at TD Garden just before 1PM. I have been hankering for a reuben, and Google indicated I was in close proximity to LaGrassa's... who unabashedly proclaims to have "the best sandwiches in the world"... so off I went. I am SO glad I did! Now, in truth, it wasn't the best reuben I've ever had. For the last 35 years I have been spoiled during semi-annual sojourns to NYC. Hitting a deli for a reuben is the first thing I ALWAYS do upon my arrival in Gotham. First, I fell in love with The Stage Deli... it's where my wife and I dined immediately after we got engaged... but then, they closed. For many years afterwards, during my trips to NYC for the NFBC, I hit The Carnegie Deli on my way to my hotel... but then, alas, they too closed. For the last yen years, I have gone to Katz's Delicatessen (I wish I'd found Katz's back in the late 80's, because I think they have the best reuben in the city... BEST I have ever eaten). I am a bit of a reuben zealot, and a reuben snob!! And I want to enjoy a GOOD reuben more than twice each year... and now that I found LaGrassa's I can! The LaGrassa's sandwich was VERY good. There were two issues that prevented my visit from being rated 5-star: One, there were two slices of VERY fatty corner beef on the sandwich... as in, one was about 80% fat and the other about 60% fat. It was not what I want when I dive into my sandwich. Secondly, the people in the kitchen should have taken the time to drain the sauerkraut... there was too much juice and the lower piece of bread was too soggy... by a long shot. Otherwise, the sandwich was a home run!! Lots of tasty corned beef... lots of delicious sauerkrat... lots of special sauce. SO good! The pickles were very good, as well. So while the sandwich wasn't perfect, it was worth the trip down from Manchester, NH... and I will regularly return to get my reuben fix... again and again and again!

Having made hundreds of sandwiches in Boston area restaurants I am very particular about how sandwiches are put together. Sam Lagrasse is da bomb. They make perfect sandwiches with the right seasoning and the right amount of each ingredient. Very rare. Love the pickles and the steak fries too.

The quality was inferior and that’s upsetting if a sandwich costs $8 but to pay over $22 and get stale bread with hardly any meat on it is extremely frustrating. I felt completely ripped off and so will you.
