This bar opened before women worked outside the home. This was at a time that once a women got married they generally only went out with their husband. Go to any bar now and not only will you see women but they may be with girlfriends and if married hubby could be @ home watching the children. The Eire Pub... More

A real local pub with a friendly atmosphere and possibly the best pint of Guinness outside Dublin? Good bar snacks with generous portions.

My father went here for as long as I can remember. The people here became our family! Everyone truly knows your name here at the Erie! You don't just go to drink and eat you go to meet up with friends. It's a friendly environment where they welcome everyone in. Drinks are strong, food is always good!

President Ronald Reagan stopped in for a sip many years ago. This is THE Irish pub in Dorchester. I lived just up Adams Street and have fond memories of meeting my uncle Ed there. The usual fare and the usual Irish atmosphere where everybody knows your name.

Frequented by Boston's politicians, worker bees, firefighters and cops. Busy pub with good drinks and a limited food menu. A must stop in Boston

If you are looking for a true Irish pub In Boston, head where the Irish do, the Erie. Service is stellar, you'll be in great company with a truly Irish pub. The fact that the owners are so dedicated to their community puts this venue at six stars

This is a true gem guys! Eire us authentic and friendly with the offer of genuine modern Irish friendliness.. The choice of beers is amazing and the Guinness tastes like home.. This old school Boston pub is quite an experience. Our waiter Richie was totally worth the trip. He was very friendly and a total scream!! The food was quite good. I had a lobster roll which was excellent and classic. Two of our party had the tuna sandwich and said it was delicious. It says Men Only on the outside... More

One can never go wrong with a visit to the Erie Pub. The food is great and the price is right. People come from all over and a lot from Ireland stop by. This Pub was visited by two presidents who shared a pint with all. Since the prices are so good no credit cards.
