Had a delicious breakfast in the hotel with a full buffet. Omelette and waffle station as well as fresh fruits and other baked goods.

Met a business colleague here for breakfast this past week. The restaurant is located within the Sheraton Hotel on Dalton Street in the Back Bay near the Convention Center. This place has all the charm of a cement box. No windows, no decor, no originality, no ambiance, and worst of all, poor service. We had to flag a server down... More

The convenience of this hotel restaurant was great the first morning in Boston...and several days in our stay. The chef will prepare an omelet anyway you'd like and had a special one on the menu each day. I recommend going the buffet route since you will spend as much for just about anything you order with drinks on the menu.... More

Breakfast costs €25 per person. The hot breakfast is average and includes coffee, toast, youghrts. The omlettes are made fresh to order. The actual decor is dated and could do with a makeover. The waiting staff are friendly.

This restaurant is IN the W Hotel. For a hotel eatery, I'd rank it above average. There is a decent, but not extraordinary, menu. The appetizers are enough to share.....for two. If you have a big group, get an assortment. Everything is a kind of interpretation of a basic dish. The taco appetizers were quite good. As were the pizza... More

Buffet was best bang for the buck. Very friendly and professional servers. Not much ambience but it was for breakfast only so not a significant factor.

I love breakfast, especially when travelling. The food at Cafe Apropos is good, but quite expensive for what you get. There is a buffet for $25, $20 with coupon we got when checking in. Most other things on the menu were at least $15 or more.

Thank DocMacD

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
