Great spot to come for happy hour - drinks and oysters. I think this spot has the best deal for oysters for happy hour. Tried some other food bites too and everything was great - service was fast as well. Its a casual spot, but...they have a good bar offering and quite a few mixed drinks to choose from.More

We dined here for dinner with our boys. My husband had the Jambalaya. One boy had the popcorn shrimp. My other son and I had shrimp/corn/potato in the boiled bag. We also had the crab rangoon appetizer. Everything was delicious and the service was great....We will definitely eat here again when we visit San Diego again.More

Fantastic, we both opted for the " Dungies" cooked beautifully, we also shared the crab cakes, the place was busy, but we were both welcomed with a smile, everyone had a no problem attatude, service and as great, the above with a couple of cocktails...was jus short of $200, but hey, it is San Francisco, oh we returned the next day for some lunch, can't wait to come back.More

Don’t trust all the reviews this place is lower quality then red lobster (didn’t think that was possible) Very overpriced and staff feels that you owe them. Upon receiving the check the tip was already included and the advised another at least 18% was customary....Server was only worried about us when it was time to pay the bill. We will never go back had upset stomach for two days nothing like paying premium for poop. Just go to red lobster.More

Check your tickets before paying! When dining in, I experienced fraud at this location. A waiter Added extra items to our ticket to boost his tip since gratuity is included. When I asked him to rectify the ticket bc it was incorrect, he then used...racial sentiments to try to silence me and make me pay for items I did not consume or receive. Luckily, cameras were above our table which proved that we did not receive the additional items included in our ticket. Something illegal and hateful is going on at this restaurant. Beware! I'll never go back again and am looking into legal action against the restaurant and its serversMore

Walk in and you are advised of a mandatory 18% service fee. QR code for the menu. The chowder was excellent. Crab was pricy. Scampi was okay, shrimp did not seem cooked through. The service was very good. Wine $$$. Will not return

Two of us ordered the smaller 2 person bucket plus a lobster tail and ended up paying close to $200 with just pop and tips on top. It was still worth it however, didn't get crazy full, should have gone for the 3~4 person bucket...as recommended but man, it was probably some of the best this style of seafood we had. Server was quick and nice, food came quickly and delicious.More

It’s messy, it’s spicy, it’s overcooked but it is an experience! Wear clothes which are ready for the laundry. Preferably go by night so your soiled clothes are not visible as you head off home!

Awesome dinner! No wait to sit at the bar the night we went. Excellent service from Lynnel! She was so pleasant and helped us with a lot of information ( it was our 1st time here). We had a Bucket for 1 and Blackened grilled...Skewers of Shrimp. Crab/cheese/jalapeno poppers for an app. It was fun to have a big sheet of white paper laid down in front of us and dig in! All the food was seasoned perfectly and of course we had some left to box up and take. Highly recommend it to all seafood lovers. We will be back! This location is in Downtown San Diego. We parked in one of the (pay) garages, altho there is some limited street parking if you don't mind driving around looking for a space.More

Everything is charged individually (a la carte). Got the crab cakes & they were just OK. 2 pretty small cakes were $15.75. Wanted some shrimp but didn't get them....found out they came with heads and shells on. And they are priced "by the pound" (so...guess they weigh them with the heads on, too). 1/2 lb of shrimp (don't know how many that would be since we didn't get them) was $9.85. One pc. of cornbread was $5.28, 1/2 corn on the cob was $3.91. Glass of wine was $11.00. Bowl of clam chowder was $8.50. Plus they automatically add an 18% tip. Won't be going back.More

This chain restaurant offers a good selection of fish and sea food. You can get it in a dish or "get it dirty" which means pot boil on the table. Good thing they have bibs and gloves for the customers. Enjoyed the Seafood Creole. Just...enough spice. Had the most incredible key lime cheese cake for dessert. I am now looking for the recipe for home.More

Wonderful fresh seafood. I had the seafood stew. The seafood was so fresh! I wish I had ordered it with the pasta because a lot of delicious juices were left in the dish. My friend ordered the sampler. Really good. Everything was fried and the...portion was generous. They charge 18% automatically.More

we enjoyed a lot eating at the crab hut. it's spicy, but it's very good. we went for dinner during a weekend so the queue was not short. but it's all worth it. I would recommend snow crab and jambalaya or shrip scampi. the seafood...bucket looks great with the whole bag of variaties, but still I think crab tastes best. the clam and oyster are not so great if to compare with carb dishes.More

Unfortunately, it's downtown, so parking can always be a problem. but there is an Ace parking lot on 6th just south of Broadway (about half block away) and another lot on 7th just north of Broadway.
