Great Ahi tuna and oysters. Pass on the clams! Save room for dessert, if you like good chocolate cake and baileys and coffee!

It's not hard to find great fish and seafood options in San Diego but this menu really stood out for it's creative preparations and accompaniments. Definitely worth a visit.

We were recommended to eat here and it was fine, but garlic bread should taste of garlic! OK the waiter took the price of one dessert off, but you want what you order. We have had better meals

The food, service and atmosphere at Brigantine's is good, but the parking situation is terrible. There is a large lot but all the spots have meters that require quarters... and they WILL give you a ticket! ($42.50) I took a star off my review due...More

We to Brigantine at the recommendation of a friend while I was in town. The view and the food were both amazing. The price was also very reasonable. Definitely stop by and check it out!

One of the 4 of us is a vegetarian. Does the menu provide for this?

This WAS a favorite with our entire family, primarily because of the delicious soft-shell crab dinner they offered (only place in San Diego we found it other than at a few sushi bars). I guess they are trying to go broke here just as they did in La Jolla with Azul, which also WAS a favorite until they dropped the wonderful eclectic menu and turned it into a steakhouse (already a dime a dozen all over town). The last time we dined at Brigantine we asked when the crab would be back on the menu, and were told it had been permanently discontinued. Why??? If it is because a new chef is in charge, how hard is it to keep some frozen soft-shells on hand for customers who are looking for that "something" different or special that makes a restaurant stand out from the competition? Now it's just another among the many seafood places in town, and no longer worth the extra time it took us to go there. Virginia, and 15 family members.

A San Diego tradition since 1969, the Brigantine has received many accolades in our 40+ year history: "BEST SEAFOOD", "BEST CASUAL SEAFOOD", "BEST HAPPY HOUR", and even "BEST SWORDFISH IN THE WORLD", according to USA Today - just to name a few. Beautifully remodeled in early 2009, the Brigantine is well-known for the signature Clam Chowder, Grilled Swordfish, and Creme Brulee. The Brigantine is a favorite among locals for consistently fresh seafood, succulent steaks and grilled meats. Home to the America's Cup until 1995, Shelter Island is still the yachting center of San Diego. The Brigantine offers glimpses of this busy marina from the outdoor patio and semi-private banquet areas. The Point Loma Brigantine serves dinner 7 nights a week, and lunch Monday-Saturday. Join us for our signature Happy Hour.
