Always a great dinner. Traveling on business so I sat at the bar. The bartenders were great! Steaks were cooked to perfection.

Every year my sons and I go to San Diego Comic con. Every night we go to another great restaurant. Our last night we always go to Donovan’s because we know it’ll be the highlight. They always welcome us back and treat us like friends....More
My wife and I recently went here for dinner on a GroupOn deal. Let me premise this that we did NOT disclose that we had a GroupOn to our servers (who were great by the way). The bread was nuked and delicious when it first...More
We had some steaks and they were cooked to perfection. The service was excellent, helpful and friendly service all around. Located in the middle of the Gas Lamp quarter of downtown San Diego, this is the very best steak house I’ve experienced.

Located in the Gaslamp district, within walking distance of innumerable hotels, this is a lovely old world type restaurant, quiet, low light and lots of wood. The delightful staff were friendly and thoroughly professional. First they brought piping hot bread which reminded me of European...More
