Went here while on holiday to celebrate my wife's birthday and we were treated very well. Booked ahead of time and mentioned on the booking that it would be my wife's birthday and after a friendly welcome and 'happy birthday' we were presented with 2 glasses of champagne on the house! We enjoyed a very tasty meal as well as... More

Sure the vibe here is cool- and that's what you pay for- but the acoustics are awful. My partner and I had to yell at each other across the table until we got sick and tired of doing that and decided to text each other instead....not kidding- the sound levels in this restaurant are incredible. I wish I could say... More

I was referred by a friend that spends quite a bit of time in San Diego. Another TripAdvisor reviewer reinforced that. There were two of us dining. The waiters were very attentive and hopefully that is not because we ate early & it wasn't yet busy or noisy. I noticed that by the time we left it was both busy... More

We booked mid-January expecting difficulties for Valentine's Day. We needed to eat early to get to a 7pm show but 5:30 was the earliest available. The fixed price menu at $75 a head turned out to be very good value. Each course came with a glass of a well chosen wine and the selections at each course were enticing and... More

Great atmosphere. Stopped here on a rainy Sunday. They had a guy playing the guitar- great voice. Drinks were good, but my sister had a bloody Mary and it didn't come with any garnish (celery, olive etc). We told the bartender. he said this was his first time working brunch. He then added some garnishes- but they were kind of... More

Searsucker is loud and we had to wait a couple of minutes for our table. From the beginning, we almost left because we thought we would end up hating it, but it turned out to be a very pleasant meal. As my title suggests, Searsucker would have gotten a lower review if it wasn't for the nice serice touches. Since... More

We tried this place after seeing the menu which had some innovative choices including lollipop chicken and egg bacon and porkbelly to start. It's a cool vibe with hip music and a trendy crowd but the food is really good too. So many choices and a great cocktail list. Definitely worth checking it out.

I was travelling on business by myself and took the option to be seated at the Chef's Bar, which is like a regular bar, except it's where food is being prepped. Service was attentive and very friendly. I ordered the short rib small plate which was delicious! No knife needed for the meat. I also ordered the Cobb Salad. This... More

On our annual pilgrimage to San Diego, hadn't seen this before so stopped by. Ambiance is nice and not too loud. Prices are a bit high and most of the food items were too spicey for my taste, but they did have a large selection of small bites perfect when just wanting to try a place.
