I'm not kidding, I cannot think of a place that I have ever been to that had better lasagna! It is a basic food, and it's amazing the various ways it can be made, but I give this place kudos for one of the best...More

Great staff, great food and reasonably priced. The owner is Italian from Rome. Well worth the walk up to the El Cortez, once a gracious old hotel and now condominiums. A piece of San Diego's history. You will want to go back. The patio is...More

Highly recommended if you are around. Good and casual ambiance, great food, good value! Try the Italian beer, Fuoco Birra on tap, if you like something distinct. It is made of three kinds of malt, is a bit pricey but worth the try.

Recommended to us by nearby hotel, and we were rewarded with special dishes. If all their offerings are a fresh and surprising as ours, this place is beyond amazing. The nightly special included a very generous glass of good wine. The lasagna was full of...More

Stopped by after a nearby yoga class. Had one of their scrambles. It was delish! Very good toasted potatoes too. I really enjoyed dining outdoors. Service was prompt and friendly. Will return again...
