This is the place to go for breakfast if staying in the Gaslamp Quarter of San Diego. Large portions, friendly staff & so many options to choose from. So good we visited 4 times.

We were going on a day trip to Mexico and wanted a filling breakfast before we left and we got it here. Eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast and plenty of coffee served quickly by super friendly staff.

I generally head over to the Broken Yolk for breakfast when I’m in San Diego. It’s always busy and there are reasons for that, Good food, generous portions and fast, efficient staff. I’ll be there on Thursday!!

Visited here twice on a 4 night trip to San Diego. There is so much to choose from. Both breakfasts I had were delicious and reasonably priced. The portions are a good size too. Service is relatively quick. Would highly recommend.

Five mo Ute walk from online hotel. Very busy. Big menu. Delicious western benedict with turkey and refried beans. Couldn't finish... big portion. A little pricey, but worth it

Stopped in for breakfast last Friday, and made it before the con-goer rush. It was only alright. We had the chicken and waffles and the biscuits and gravy, but neither was really great. The gravy was only so-so to go with doughy biscuits, and the...More
