Strangely, the restaurant is listed as The Gaslamp Fish House on the receipt, so if there are references to this name, it is because that is how we knew it. We arrived in San Diego and decided to take an orientation walk and stretch out...More

This restaurant is now known as Gaslamp Fish House. We went during Happy Hour and it was a wonderful meal. We got food from the HH menu, but also off the regular menu. I had crab cakes--good but not great. But the lobster bisque is...More

I ordered the sea bass on the recommendation from the server. It came out virtually raw! Everything else was overrated as well. Bartender was great but food was a gigantic disappointment!

The food was ok, nothing great. The service was average. The bathroom was not very clean. Unlikely to go again.

Stopped in for their house made margaritas and fish cerviche appetizers. History of the restaurant was interesting and it overlooks a pocket park. Beautiful!

While visiting San Diego we found this excellent fish restaurant. My husband isn’t a fish person but he even enjoyed the fish and chips. It is deep fried with a crispy batter but not greasy at all. The fish they serve is native to the...More

Ok. Let's start at the beginning. We had a reservation. The restaurant was not busy. They take us to a table which was not bussed and we wait while they clean it. Order our appetizer which arrives promptly but then gets cold while we wait...More
