Very busy place! Get reservations or you'll end up waiting a while. Many tourists come here but locals do to for family occasions. Get the crab here. You can dress casually here. It's along Seaport Village and next to the Midway. Your typical seafood here, a solid establishment but nothing spectacular. The servers here work hard and are very nice.

A fine dinner with excellent service and food likewise. Location excellent, close to the USS Midway Museum. View of bay is ideal. We walked from hotel but parking appears to be good. We did not dine "Upstairs" - fine dining area - our group was casual after a day of seeing the sights.

It's a very good place to have a lunch, nearby USS Midway. The plates are well-served. All the waiters are very nice and polite. It's a good option.

Had a really great meal at the Fish Market with 2 colleagues tonight. Sat outside in the sunshine with views of the aircraft carrier to one side and the bay at the other. The waitress was v welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. There was a fantastic array of fresh fish on ice as you enter and the menu gave... More

Nice place. Great views. Good food. Just a little pricey. Even with the last part being pricey, you still should try it. Food is very good.

Ok, there is an Fish Market and Fish Market upstairs, this review is for the Fish Market. So the location is right on San Diego Harbor facing the west and the setting sun...it doesn't suck! Seriously though the atmosphere is terrific, the raw seafood bar is right in front of you as you walk in and Juan (you'll know it's... More

I enjoyed dinner there and found that their seafood materials were fresh. The price is more reasonable than other seafood restaurants in the nearby seaport village. The food was delicious and portion was good, too! The waiters and waitresses were friendly. Definitely get a table outside and enjoy the view! Will not hesitate to go back there on my next... More

We went back to The Fish Market Restaurant this weekend and had an OK experience. We had not been back to The Fish Market since before the fire that burn the top of the building down. The views are always good at The Fish market and I think they feel that people will get so caught up in the breath... More

The Fish Market was a delightful experience. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is relaxing and enjoyable. You will be able to have a seat by the harbor if you reserve ahead. The fish is fresh and they offer a choice of preparation styles for most all items. The menu has many items in addition to fish. The hostesses... More

We have dined here several times in the past couple years when we were in town visiting San Diego. The fish meals are as fresh as can be. The waitstaff are always pleasant and the views are great as well. A must to try!
