We went to old town just for a walk and ended up eating at this place. Of all the places around this one seemed the nicest and the ambiance was so inviting that we didn't hesitate to enter. The food we ordered was delicious and the service was really nice. Overall things went really well on our visit to old... More

Was not the best Mexican food we have eaten, I had the Combo Tres, which was a beef tostada, cheese quesadilla, and chicken taco. It was nothing special; I have had much better. My wife had her favorite, fish tacos. Her comment was that they were "okay". It is a very busy and noisy restaurant, probably because of its location... More

The menu is very large. I hard a hard time choosing. I decided on pancakes for breakfast. They were very tasty and I almost ate them all. I had a huge cup of Pepsi which is my favorite. My boyfriend had their breakfast sandwich and it looked as good as he said it was. The service was great and everyone... More

It was raining and we didn't have a clue where to eat. But the line up at the entrance of the Cafe Coyote helped us make up our mind. Good choice. I had a fajita that was very tasty. Services was very good. The only comment would make is that the waiter asked if we would like some guacamole with... More

Despite the long line that formed on the sidewalk, our group of four enjoyed the food and drinks at Cafe Coyote. It seems the margaritas were very pricey and not particularly generous on the tequila. Despite that, we'd return when in the San Diego area.

Best place for Mexican breakfast. Love the food and the music. I would never eat at a place without the right music.

Fresh, good mexican food. Delicious chips and salsa. They are extremely generous with both the chips and salsa and it is very fresh. The entrees are also very good sized. One of the best mexican places in Old Town San Diego. Plenty of vegetarian options.

Had dinner on a week night, the restaurant was busy but found a table anyway. Good service and very tasty food!

Started with a free bunuelo. Scan QR code on OLDE Town Brochure. Yummy honey soaked freshly made flour tortilla. Fried to a crisp, topped with crema. After that, a lighter breakfast was in order. While I had a delicious made to order breakfast sandwich, my husband enjoyed a platter of huevos con chorizo with freshly made corn tortillas. He left... More

So many places to eat. This place is ok but order ala cart. We asked for spicy but did not get it! It was good but not great. Old town dinner is less crowed and better service.
