Very much enjoyed hanging out there last night. Bartender was veery friendly and fast. The Beer selection was pretty good and you have hockey on TV was a bonus!

Pretty good place - very close to the Copley Symphony Hall if you're going to see a show, like we did last night. My wife raved over the Salmon BLT sandwich. I had the Stout Burger. The medium burger meat was more like well done but was still good. Fries were good. Happy hour wine prices and wine were $5... More

I usually don't visit this part of the downtown but my buddy mentioned that Stout was "reliable" which I guess meant nothing special but still a good bar and it was. At least a dozen beers on tap and since it was a hockey bar a good selection of Canadian beer I don't normally drink. Anyways the food is good,... More

This has been my go-to Irish pub whenever I crave the combination of a pint of Guinness and a plate of corned beef and cabbage. This may sound odd but not all pints of Guinness taste the same. Not sure why that is. But Stout gets it right. Not all plates of corned beef and cabbage are the same. Stout... More

First restuarant/bar experience in San Diego and it wasn't anything special. Just a An Irish bar with a thing for hockey, that should have told me enough. Just had an old vibe to it. Other reviewers rated as a good place but I disagree. Not that it was horrible or anytHing, it just was average at best. Had a beer... More

This could have been a five star review but the server was incredibly (almost stupidly) pushy about ordering alcohol! It was quite offensive to be honest. I don't have anything against booze but I'm not a big drinker and was really just there for some good food. Seemed like if you weren't going to order drinks on drinks on drinks... More

Not hard to find a good beer in SD. Stopped in here after the show at House of blues. Racer 5 IPA on tap. Great beer. Mixed crowd. Good service.

This bar was close to our hotel so we visited there 3 times in 2 days. We met Danny, our awesome bartender, who took care of us during our visits. We didn't get to eat here, but we really enjoyed the drinks and friendly bartenders we encountered. This place was a score for us for its location and quieter atmosphere... More
