Near Best Western Lamplighter and SDSU (csusd). FOOD DELICIOUS. Good service. Small main building and parking lot. Restrooms are NOT in main building, and require stepping outside to access.

Every time we go, the owner knows us by name. The know my husband is going to order a sweet entree and a practical one. She always smiles and keeps the coffee coming. I have the breakfast sandwich on a crescent roll. always fresh.

I had a salad and he had eggs bacon and hash browns so both of us were happy! Service was good and the owners were on top of everything! Good lighting and nice atmosphere. Definitely a thumbs up 👍🏼

Four of us stopped for breakfast. The food was excellent and the cappuccino's were perfect. We would highly recommend making the stop if you are in the area.

I ordered a mushroom and spinach omlet, with potatoes. I didn't think it was all that special. Came here before with a group of people the lady with the accent, was very nice and accommodated the kids with their orders. I'll come back and try something else on the menu.

My husband and I gladly skip the breakfast hotel included in a motel stay whenever we are reasonably close to this area. The Daily Grind offers home cooked meals and fresh orange juice. I guess we have been fortunate because every time we're there, service is quick. They have a decent selection of dishes which are prepared well, served in... More

My friends and I live around the corner and this is our favorite breakfast place. They do the best Eggs Benedict in town and have won awards for them. I always stick to the Benedicts and am always happy. The California Benedict is my friend's favorite and you can't convince him to get anything else or that there is a... More

My husband and I were very pleased with the quality and quantity of the breakfast items we had (waffle with bacon/eggs and omelets). Specialty coffees were really tasty (Vietnamese, White Mocha and Cafe Mocha all very good). The first time we went the service was pretty quick and attentive; however, the second time there was only one person running the... More

My breakfast was delicious! I had a Denver omelette. The eggs were fluffy, the filling of ham, onions, red bell pepper and cheese was good. The cottage fries and whole wheat toast were good. I also got a fresh fruit cup of strawberries, bananas, & orange slices. Very fresh. The service was ok. I think she could have been more... More
