Even with the reviews you never know of a place will agree with you. This one does get it and the establishment gets customer service. At all times our table of 8 had servers waiting to help out. It was like this all across the...More

It was very pleasant to sit outdoors (until the mosquitos swarmed us). The clam chowder was good but lukewarm and the pear salad nothing special. The food was way overpriced by our standards but maybe not by Cape Cod's.More

I wish we had been aware of your displeasure with the temperature of the chowder and the pear salad as I'm confident I would have been able to help you select other dishes you might enjoy. Please note that we do take great care to...More

A prime location with ambitions to position itself as a high-end restaurant. But in reality the menu is very average and overpriced. I had a dinner once and no interest in coming back again.More

Ambitious? Yes, we are. Despite being a seasonal restaurant in a small town that serves burgers and chowder we also aim to offer creative dishes with top notch ingredients. High-end? No. We work hard to over deliver a complete dining experience - ambience, service and...More

For a great restaurant choice on the lower cape, I recommend Winslow's Tavern. Sit out side under an umbrella amongst a beautiful garden and enjoy farm fresh food. My friend and I both devoured delicious salads and tasty summer cocktails. Careful because the "summer in...More

Called into Wellfleet for lunch and called into the Winslow tavern. The favourites on the menu are signified by a pineapple. both my wife and I chose one of these and we were not disappointed.

Lovely venue for afternoon lunch and the food was great. Although didn't have dinner, the menu selection looked wonderful. Nice service and have oyster happy hour from 3-5.

It's been a couple of years since we've visited and the quality of the food and service has remained. The menu has changed somewhat but is still excellent. Love the curried mussels but saddened the pasta carbonara has been deleted from the menu. It's our...More

It's certainly nice to know that the things you loved about your visits are still just as wonderful. We continue to make changes to our menu, but it's always helpful to hear what dishes have been particular favorites with guests. Thank you. Cheers, Tracey Barry...More

Expensive , but gourmet level food in a great setting. Have the sweet corn risotto with seared scallops or the pasta with seafood. Place was filled with locals which to me is the hallmark of a good eatery

We make it a point to drop by at Happy Hour several times during our two week annual stay. The oyster preparation options are exceptional! Dinner is also great, maybe a bit more than the tourist traps, but well worth it

Parking is rarely a problem. Facing the restaurant, on the same side of the street, a large town lot is on your immediate right. To your left, on the same side of the street, is a smaller parking lot, also free. Note: an... More

Description
A dining experience at Winslow's begins with a warm greeting from Tracey Barry Hunt, the General Manager who oversees "the front of the house." A former documentary television producer and director, Tracey loves speaking with guests and sharing local knowledge about her favorite spots on the Cape. Winslow's menu and wine list are created by South African born Chef, Phillip Hunt, Tracey's husband. Phillip is always happy to share his passion and vast knowledge of wine with guests interested in recommendations and food pairings. On any given day Tracey and Phillip's two young sons, Hunter and Romanee (our grill and saute cooks for the 2020 season!) may also make an appearance at Winslow's to pick some herbs for Dad or entertain the staff and guests with Mom.
