Terrific coffee and wonderful staff. Everyone is super friendly! The latte was absolutely delicious. They have cold brew and espresso soda too! Also a few baked items for food. Highly recommend!

The barista is really passionate about his craft and will discuss the finer points of coffee without being condescending. All of the beans are really good--just ask which is best for your preferred brew method. There's not much space inside, but the bench out front is a nice place to enjoy your coffee while admiring the beautiful architecture on the... More

Came here on the earlier side on a Sunday so it was not too busy. The people working there were lovely and clearly passionate about their jobs. I overheard one barista explaining to a patron the type of beans that were used in the current brew and told him what the next brew would be like so he could choose... More

I really liked this little coffee place. I had a soy latte and a chocolate croissant and everything was great. There is no where to sit inside, so I sat outside, as there are 2 chairs right outside the door. The coffee was really good, and so was the croissant. Very friendly staff as well.

Had several coffees here over the last few days, the first was excellent. The others were not so good, one over extracted and the other had milk so over textured it looked like Starbucks foam. It's a shame, they really need to focus on quality and training, they use a marzocco with a mechanical paddle, mazzer grinders and it's all... More

Walked in on a misty morning craving an espresso. Staff were friendly. The place has a small interior - standing room only. With our espresso they offered us free fizzy water. Yes! Left them a nice tip for being so friendly and delivering a really good espresso.

Quaint and cute as it might be there are certain niceties that should be maintained. Arriving early on a Sunday morning I waited while the two servers had finished reading and discussing their social media content before acknowledging my existence. Perhaps I might have been in a hurry, perhaps I need a cute little flat cap. When a mistake was... More

If you are looking for a small, yet quiet and good coffee place, there it is. It is amazing to see Gimme! located just a few blocks away from busy tourist spot Little Italy/Chinatown. Take a few steps to get away from the crowd to enjoy a nice coffee plus friendly service at the Gimme! Surely I will be back... More

Tucked away on Mott Street, north of Little Italy, is a narrow store front, behind which hides the Manhattan Branch of Gimme! Coffee. While it might be small, it packs a lot in, especially for somewhere which is essentially a takeaway place. It has bags of charm and character and in terms of the sheer range of coffee and coffee... Fantastic coffee made by a nice guy who clearly loves his craft. For you fellow Australians out there, the Gimme small cappuccino is in the style of a flat white and you will not be disappointed. I LOVE this neighbourhood between Bowery and Broadway.

Staying in Nolita

Neighbourhood Profile
Despite being just off of busy Houston Street, Nolita maintains a low-key vibe that makes it a pleasant retreat in the heart of lower Manhattan. Short for “North of Little Italy,” Nolita was once considered to be part of Little Italy. Today, the neighbourhood is popular with young fashionistas popping in and out of the chic independent boutiques that line Mulberry, Mott and Elizabeth Streets. In addition to shopping, there are cozy restaurants and sidewalk cafes serving everything from new-school Italian food to the world-famous cronuts. While small in size (Nolita stretches just a few blocks in each direction), it’s a great neighbourhood to spend an afternoon people watching, window-shopping, and grabbing a bite to eat.
