Found this place after typing in "hummus" to google. It's a quiet sub-street level family owned place. Menu has a lot of options- I liked the hummus and couscous and falafal. Good priced. Pay in cash because credit machine is broken. Atmosphere is a bit depressing so not sure I'll return.

This restaurant is a glorified fast food restaurant. No flavor, packaged pita bread. Food was unremarkable Table was sticky and the hot sauce bottle was even stickier. Bathroom was rough around the edges. Lots of restaurants in the neighborhood - one can choose better. Don't bother.

My wife and I have been going here for years. It is a halal restaurant and very helpful to observant Muslims to dine out. The place is a little hard to find. It is sub street level. All the restaurant on that side of the street are above and below street level. The restaurant is friendly family run. Middle Eastern... More

I went with a group of friends for dinner and thought the food and service were both good. After having lived in Tanzania for 27 months I got really attached to hand washing stations in restaurants, and this is one of relatively few restaurants in the US that has one. My falafel-hummus plate was good, and so was the 7-vegetable... More

Walked into this restaurant based on Yelp reviews. Depressing atmosphere and no ambience but was willing to give it a go. Tables felt greasy and there was loud argumentative talking from the back area. Cold tap water arrived promptly and the wi fi was complementary but service was otherwise very slow for a place with 3 tables occupied. I had... More

Difficult to find as it is below the street. The Veggie Couscous was ok. I asked for more sauce because the couscous was dry. Falafel was really excellent. Tip is included in bill.

The food was stinky, And the service was very bad. The writers never come to the table and never bring the check. Also, 20% tap is included. Anyway, it was the worst experience I've had in NYC!!!!!

Food is not bad, pricy for what it is. The restaurant and the service was average. Bathroom is falling apart and not inviting.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
