We stopped for drinks the other night. The house cocktails were amazing- very creative. We had the sambu. The menu is very enticing as well. We plan to return for dinner. The negative is that they only accept American Express. The man next to us at the bar had to go to the ATM down the street. This was a... More

In the midst of the city it was nice to find farm-fresh organic dishes like I might make at home, a welcome change from the usual restaurant saucy, salted fare. I was happy to spy it for lunch on a walk through the neighborhood. I sat with several locals at the bar (close to the sidewalk for people watching!) and... More

Found this place online when looking for organic restaurants in the Soho area. Went there by myself upon arrival on Manhattan from a long flight. Unfortunately they were out of the lasagna. But, I decided to go for the fish of the day which was Lemon Sole with spinach and pan roasted Veggies. Really amazing dish. Fantastic produce and preparation.... More

Hunting for a decent place to eat in the neighbourhood which is not too much overpriced, we cound Quartino which was a good pick. Unfortunately, to start with the "bad", a bit too many Pasta dishes and only one fish dish to pick from, no meet, and few Rice dished. I took the fish of the day, a codfish which... More

All 3 "organic" white wines -- pinot grigio, chardonnay, sauv. blanc -- were way below average yet fully priced. Tables are too close together. Service was spotty. Lighting, which started out fine, was turned down mid-meal to ultra-dim. Staff refused to turn it up even a little, due to management insistence on dim lighting. Bad vibes here.

The food is really pure. You can taste the difference. The bread and oil was terrific--the first time. Next times, not so much. So ok, maybe a sign of baking every day, there's bound to be erratic product. Fritattas are very very good. Overall, atmosphere and staff are excellent. Laid back. Very cool. Don't bother going if you're a loud... More

I have wanted to dine at Quartino for a long time. I love their story - organic food, very high quality olive oil, gluten free options for pasta, many local ingredients, thoughtfully sourced, etc. I was pleased when I walked in - friendly service, nice ambiance (small, but doesn't feel cramped, high ceilings, dim lighting), great music playing. The olive... More

We found this place after hitting a closed door on our original destination (another review). It was right around the corner, had vegan options and all organic. Boy was this a lucky find. Awesome food, flavours, dimension, not terribly creative but really well done. Great selection of organic wines. Some vegan option, but I wish there would be more. The... More

Oh dear. I'm so into my organic food I thought this would be a good chose. It was not. We started with scallop salad. Very boring with hardly any taste. My husband had salmon pasta and said his was quite tasty. I had salmon and potatoes. It was boiled so there's not much to say but it was the most... More
