Caffe Roma is a historical spot featured also in the Sopranos movie. Cozy and beautifully decorated offers a nice view of Mulberry street in Little Italy and a big range of pastries and coffee. Excellent place to relax after hours of sight seeing and walking, especially in winter when you need a warm place to sit and drink an italian... More

This is a must stop on every NYC trip for me. Their pastries and cookes are very good! The coffee is a must! Great place to warm up after a cold day of walking around the city. This is a cash only establishment.

Went here for a coffee break when strolling around Chinatown and Little Italy. Italian feeling and good coffee.

Walked six blocks out of the way to introduce friends to after dinner dessert of tiramisu, biscotti, pignolli and cannoli. This bakery cafe is the perfect ending to evenings in Little Italy or Chinatown with other offerings of frozen beverages and a spot that's great for fries gathering or a quiet date location to sell your partner on the quality... We stopped there attracted by the sign advertising Italian ice cream. Yet, instead of gelato, we got watery ice, crystallized ice. The WC was not as clean as we would expect.

We had been here about five years ago and had the best coffee and cannoli. When we went back last week it was just as good. We had stopped in to the cannoli king's place on the way down little Italy and did have a few there. They were really pricey. Five minutes later we were at Caffè Roma enjoying... More

Situated on a nice corner spot in LIttle Italy, this is a nice place to grab your cannollis or any other dessert as you continue to stroll down Mulberry Street. I decided on the chocolate cannolli and it was delicious!

Good espresso, mediocre croissant. Nothing extraordinary. Be aware that they don't accept credit cards.

A must on your list of what to see and do in New York. You can sense the feeling of age and character at Caffe Roma. Its been around for a very long time and still going strong. The coffee is excellent and the hot chocolate particularly tasty. We were on a family visit towards the end of the day.... More

Staying in Little Italy

Neighbourhood Profile
Little Italy
While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors from around the globe, especially on summer weekends when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables, cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in for a coffee and a cannoli, or grab a streetside table to take in the scenery over a hearty Italian meal.
