We ate lunch at Bloomingdales on 59th Street in the David Burke restaurant. I had a delicious chicken milanese with a rocket and parmesan salad – good value at $18. My Mum had the same and we both thoroughly enjoyed it! Worth a visit for quality reasonably priced food – close to the park.

This place is small, as is the menu, but the ambience, food and especially the service make it a place to return to. Our server suggested my friend and I split the soup-and-salad option, which meant we two ate for the price of one. Then he stayed smiling when she changed her mind about coffee and sent it back-- and... More

This is truly an upper East side hidden gem. A place where charming ladies where pretty hats and stay at home moms bring their young children. The frozen yogurt is a real treat, so many delicious flavors to choose from. You can just order it from the counter and take it with you.

Had steak frites and Fries plus a Reuben sandwich and found it to be wonderful. The service was great. The food was delicious. And it was in a great spot to people watch while we ate lunch.

Visited this establishment whilst at Bloomingdales. Fast efficient service though limited light snack choices. Opted for the 10 layer chocolate cake which was big and moist though not that chocolatey. As I'm not a cake fan it more than satisfied my hunger (only managed part of it). A venue for stress-free relaxation

This could a good café only because of the convenience - it is located inside the Bloomingdale's store on Lexington and 59th Street. But it also offers a great food selection at a reasonable price. I was there on a heavy snow day, and the counter seats by the window were the perfect spot to enjoy the snow while we... More

We had been busy seeing the town and stopped in for a late lunch. The place was jammed but we were seated within 5 minutes. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had the turkey sandwich and it was amazing!

We are here on a trip to Bloomingdales. One of the most overpriced meals I have had in NYC. Two tomato soups, with a sliver of grilled cheese, two bottles of water and a lobster roll, if it can be called that, for $64? The grilled cheese was literally half of a sandwich with the crust cut off. The soup... More

If you fancy a cup of tea beside a window with a view then David Burke's place fits well. Having a small menu you do not have too many choice. But I stuck to my cup of tea and engaged in a high powered discussion on the subject of 'world peace' while watching the world pass by.
