My friends and I were looking for a fun, hip MEXICAN restaurant to have margaritas. This restaurant did not disappoint. We all ordered the guacamole, which they prepare table side, and give you three different yummy sauces. It's $15, but worth it. Then we all ordered the grilled pineapple margarita. It was a little spicy, very strong and DELISH! Highly... More

If you like Mexican, you'll def have to try this place. Its very close to Grand Central Terminal. The bar was packed when we arrived, but we were quickly seated for dinner on a Saturday night. Friendly/helpful wait staff. I'm a huge margarita fan, but unfortunately I wasn't impressed by the one i had. It was strong, but not sweet... More

This is a good restaurant to have lunch and eat decent Mexican food, the drinks are good also. It is not romantic nor arty but it is a good alternative for business lunches. I always visit while in town because the food is good and prices are nice.

Sinigual is a great spot in a very convenient midtown location. The Tex/mex is well above par, with special mention of their fantastic chile relleño. Be equally sure to try the freshly prepared guacamole. Drinks are good but carefully measured and thus not too generous where it counts. Sinigual is a very large restaurant but nevertheless it is surprisingly loud.... More

We're from the south and we're pleasantly surprised to find this little treasure in midtown! Guacamole is fabulous as well as their fajitas.

Delicious food. I wasn't happy with the cocktail I ordered, but that could just be preference. We were here around 9pm on a Friday night. It wasn't busy, but our service was lacking.

Travelling for business, we ordered a range of dishes to share at the table. The food was generally very good - nachos and guacamole starters were followed by fajitas, enchiladas, rice, empanadas etc. The range of drinks was good, although the wine list could do with some expansion. The service was a bit hit-and-miss - with a large number of... More

We really enjoyed the guacamole which is made at tableside! Entries were also very good, carne asada with shrimp and fish tacos in our case. Meals are sized nicely and spiced really well. The Patron margarita's were outstanding. Atmosphere is good, we can definitely recommend and will go back in the future.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
