Even though the restaurant was very noisy when you first enter, I was worried it would be too loud for a business-casual meal. I know this is a chain but each location is slightly different with a varied clientele. I went immediately to the back and found an intimate table for two. The service was quick and responsive. The menu... More

Perfect spot on a sunny day! We got a coveted table on the patio. The attitude of those who were dragging their tails well after they'd finished eating went with the 'hood, and was not that of the serving staff. You can eat a little or a tot, and all quality. We had not seen each other in decades, so... More

We startet our NYC trip with a breakfast at this store. Based on our history we have always been happy with the service. This time we have been more than unsatisfied. The food was not that deliscous, the service took very long (more than 45minutes), the waitress was not following our wishes and forgot orders. To sum it up: We... More

So often it is hard to find just the lunch you want. Well today I did and quality service went with it. The staff went out of their way to get me a seat and made me feel wanted. Good choice on menu.

We were going to a program at the Museum of Modern Art and were looking for a convenient place for lunch. It was convenient but the food was fair at best and the service was poor.

Great atmosphere, attention despite being group of 6 at busy time. Food very healthy and exceptionally tasty. Smashed about on toast improved with boiled egg and salmon. Great coffee. Give it a try!

Not sure whether something was wrong or they just couldn't cope, but we waited 30 min for our food. It were 5 really simple dishes that really shouldnt have taken that long. The waiter couldve managed our expectations but we just sat there wondering what was going on. Maybe they should change their system and just serve dishes as they... More

We came in today at 9.45 am for breakfast. Table was dirty and it took them 20 min. to ask for our order. After another 20 min. we received our drinks in paper cups cause they had no clean dishware left?! After one hour we received our food and than we realized two dishes got forgotten by them. Another 20... More

Very informal, not a lot of "atmosphere".....but comfortable and well lit. The service was very friendly if a tiny bit haphazard. The FOOD was GREAT. A beautifully made croissant (I forgot to ask if it was made with organic flour and butter because....because I just wanted it, it was so big and fluffy!)....excellent smoked salmon on bread that WAS organic... Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
