I loved the food at Luke's lobster. I got the trio and it was just delicious. I also got the crab claws and the blueberry lemonade. Everything was lovely.

Freshly toasted brioche buns, packed with the most lobsterest of lobster claws, butter so good it was obviously made from the tears of obese cherubs. Why are you still reading this review? Step away from zee device and go get one of the best lobster rolls you'll ever have in your life. Fact.

Went here for lunch and the place is really small (only 8 seats). But no problem if you are on time. Took a luke's special (which is a small lobster, crab and shrimp roll) with a soup. First of all, the soup was AMAZING! For the 3 small rolls, the lobster roll was definitely the best. It's not cheap but... More

I cannot expreess just how yummy the lobster bisque and the lobster rolls are at Luke's. We tried the shrimp roll and crab rolls as well, but they were no where near as good as the lobster! The lobster bisque has a bit of spiciness, and had big chunky pieces of lobster in it. The rolls were on the smalll... More

We were fortunate to eat at Lukes while they had a valentines special. 2 x clam chowder, mini lobster roll, crab roll, shrimp roll and a mini lobster tail for $55 USD. If not for this special, it will be on the expensive side to try a few menu items. Saying that, food was fresh and very tasty with special... More

Been there too many times to count. I think the first time it was in 2011. Never been disappointed. Fresh lobster from the Maine with a lot of flavor. Top this with some hot butter and pickles and a local beer and you got yourself a treat. I wish this place would exist worldwide. I wanted to try the truck... More

This was my first stop in New York shortly after arriving and it was one of the best things I ate in NYC. We only tried the lobster roll but I'm sure the other stuff on the menu was just as good. Note that it was very small inside for dining, probably 4 tables or so. We sat by the... More

Hey there, It makes us really happy to be one of your first stops after arriving in town and also one of the best dishes you had while visiting. Next time you visit, may I suggest giving our "Luke's Trio" a try? It contains a 1/2 roll of lobster, crab, and shrimp so that you can sample all of our... More

Staying in East Village

Neighbourhood Profile
East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village, which offers plenty of unique small businesses catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to wander up and down the streets searching for the newest hip spot, or an old-school favorite. In the center of the neighbourhood, Tompkins Square Park serves as a gathering point for the New Yorkers that call the East Village home. The people-watching here is hard to beat.
