Went here with my husband for a quiet dinner thinking we were going to have tavern food. The food was amazingly presented in a fine dining cuisine detail.

It was fine. Food was ok. Service was slow and the restaurant was empty. I'm not sure we'll go back. It got great reviews which is why we were disappointed.

Average at best. Very loud; very rushed - and most sadly, the fish had no taste! Nice to be convenient to the theater, but Starbucks would have been better.

So sorry! I just saw this question. They do welcome young people. Hope you enjoy the show.
I tried to get a 12:30 reservation for one on May 18th before seeing Hamilton and could not. Will I be able to walk in and get a seat at the bar and is the bar comfortable for eating?

I've never eaten at the bar, so can't address comfort. My guess is that since you are dining solo, you will be able to get a seat at the bar. Linda

You feel a great energy when you walk into the Glass House Tavern. The decor is soothing and warm and truly makes the customer feel welcome. The prompt, friendly service is delightful and the food is incredible. Executive Chef Craig Cupani has created a contemporary American menu that sets this restaurant apart from the other choices in the neighborhood. Fresh, seasonal ingredients are the emphasis here and the results are fantastic.
