We rocked into this interesting restaurant and enjoyed the fun atmosphere created by the owner. We were with a group of 12 and we all agreed the food was quite good, the wine pleasant enough and the "Elvis Impersonator" as we termed the boss, was entertaining if a little bit over the top. However we discovered, when checking our bank... More

Adorable and old little restaurant. Fabulous bread and celery appetizer. Service is never great, but the ambiance is! It is always an interesting and fun meal and is very close to the hotel we usually stay at.

Food was good, piano playing was ok! Elvis a bit painful. The biggest complaint we have is the tip ($65) (6 people), but when we got credit card statement Elvis had adjusted tip to $85, please be careful of this

Small inconspicuous location, you could miss it if you weren't looking for it. Trust me, you should look for it! Owner, Isaac, greets you, seats you, and waits on you with a team of assistants that never keeps you waiting. Foods great and reasonably priced, including the specials. When we finished the bottle of wine we ordered, Isaac gave us... More

Just around the corner from our hotel, we ventured in one night. Though the service is a bit haphazard, the food is really good and the prices are quite reasonable considering this is NYC. Quite small so either book or go early.

I visited with my family for dinner, and in this restaurant you can not choose what you want to eat and drink, first they try at all costs that you choose the specials of the day, then they want you to drink the house wine and last, a lot Careful when paying the bill, the tip is already included in... We ate here on a Sunday evening ( New Years Day) and we weren't sure what to expect. The place is quite small and dark but this does make it very atmospheric ( just very hard to read the menu) and decor is definitely fitting for a small trattoria. Isaac greeted us and was very welcoming and though at times... More

Great food and host Isaac was wonderful. Highly recommended! Small but cozy and prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. Octopus appetizer was the best I have ever had.

3 generation family visit. we have all moved away from the tri-state area so wanted a NY experience (no chain restaurants per 18 yo). Wandered in because it looked interesting and wasn't far from hotel- very glad we did. Food was great, service on point and we loved the piano player.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
