Great little find around the corner from our hotel. Extensive menu, polite and friendly staff and great food. Most customers seem to be regulars so created a nice atmosphere with banter from customers and staff .

Stopped here as it was convenient to my hotel on Lexington. I visited for breakfast around 8AM on a weekday. Place was busy as you would expect. Over hearing some conversations of those around me it is apparent this is visited by locals and visitors...More

We went for a quick dinner. It was terrible. The sandwich was dry. The spinach pie was horrible and was obviously warmed in the microwave. Keep walking!!

Beyond belief, this was the 2nd time we happened upon this same diner while visiting NYC. Having stayed in the neighborhood on a previous visit, but at a different hotel, I guess our desire to not spend $50.00 for breakfast brought us back! Nice people,...More

We came here for a breakfast while visiting New York and we were delighted to find such an authentic, delicious diner! The waiting staff were all very friendly and the prices were very reasonable.

Breakfast was in full swing when we arrived. The waiter was there as soon as we were seated. The food was great but if you want crispy bacon, be sure to tell the waiter, Highly recommend this spot to start your day in midtown.

Had a great diner style breakfast. Service was nice. No frills, just a great breakfast if you like diner style.

We were staying at a local hotel but came here for breakfast each morning. It's the classic American diner experience, well patronised by locals and tourists alike. Great diner food with friendly, fast and attentive service at a reasonable price. Recommended!

We had a quick breakfast here - they quickly accommodated our table of 7, despite how crowded the restaurant was. My son the pessimist kept saying, "Were going to be here for an hour, dad!" But it ended up being about 10 minutes. The food...More

We had a few breakfasts here. It was always busy which is a good sign. There was a good variety of hot and cold food which tasted good. The diner was very clean but no frills. Prices were reasonable.

Regarding NY Luncheonette being open on Christmas Day, I have to admit I'm not sure. However, give them a call at (212) 838 0165 and get a quick answer. Sorry I wasn't very helpful.
