We were ambling about the area and spotted this one more or less on a whim. Bar menu is solid (lots of ryes, bourbons, whiskeys). Nice open bar area with table seating in the rear. We hit the lunch menu and while the cocktails were...More

Chose this place for an early Friday dinner as it’s just an avenue block from the Rubin Museum which we planned on visiting (free admission Fridays after 6). It’s a typical NY restaurant with a small facade, narrow bar area in front opening up to...More

Used to be the high-end Gawker hangout but is usually full of young ones working in that trendy Union Square neighborhood. Long bar with attentive barkeepers and a dining area. Haven't tried the food out.

Rooftop bar with outdoor seating and a covered bar makes this a good spot. Food is a little overpriced, without being super exciting to make up for it. But it's still worth a stop.

Second visit here. Specialty cocktails are superb. Our party had Flatiron Manhattans, Smokey Horizons and 17th St Sazereqs. The additional ingredients incorporated in these offerings by this establishment make regular favorites into extra special drinks. Had dinner reservations elsewhere so didn't sample the food fare....More

Called in here for a farewell drink - leaving town today. Lovely well stocked bar. Would have been fantastic - but no barman!!!! How could they have forgotten to engage the services of a barman? Eventually someone arrived - we were served - but I...More

The cocktails here are amazing. Their bourbon collection is extensive and their tasting menu for them are great. Their fried Mac and Cheese is delicious as are most of their dishes.

which makes a good picture no matter what angle you
photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant
architecture as you stroll the streets- much of this
